Be honest, do you more fear your loved one dying from a mass shooter, or a drunk driver?

If we are honest, we all know the answer to this question. The chances of your loved one being killed by a drunk driver are much much higher than being killed by some murderer.

So please expain the unexplainable. Why does the Left constantly fixate on more and more gun regulations (that would not have prevented most of the mass shootings we have witnessed), but seldom mention stricter alcohol regulations, that would help cut down on the tens of thousands of drunk driving deaths.

One answer...... the real concerns of these hypocritical anti gun Leftist's has nothing to do with actually saving lives. There goal is to take the guns from Americans so they can more easliy usher in their socialist Big Brother politically correct control of the people.

Where is the Left's outcry for background checks in public places selling alcohol, for those repeat DWI offenders who will most likely drive home?

THERE IS NO OUTCRY FOR ALCOHOL CONTROL EVERYTIME A BUS LOAD OF INNOCENT CHILDREN ARE KILLED IN A DRUNK DRIVING ACCIDENT!

Background checks in bars for repeat DWI offenders would actually work because these losers have no problem driving with revoked licenses. As with most laws, criminals ignore them!

The reason the Left does not scream for background checks with the sale of alcohol is because THEY DRINK! They do not want to be inconvienenced by background checks and the increased costs of alcohol, to save lives.

They say the same thing gun owners say. They say we are law abiding citizens. They say we are not drunk drivers so why should we be penalized? They would say it's not the alcohol, it's the person behind the alcohol. I agree!

Are you Liberal gun hating Leftists starting to get it? I know you already get it, you simply don't care. You are just deceptive hypocrites who don't care about facts because your goal is taking our guns.

I do not support more restrictions on alcohol any more than guns because I'm not an idiot. I understand that the weapon of chioce is not the problem. The problem is this new age culture of self love and broken homes. It all starts in the home with a loving mother and father. That is the answer to most problems in this world.

Try addressing that problem and actually save some lives and do some good for your fellow man.

I fear neither. We will not live our lives in fear. That wouldn't be living.

Obviously I don't want them to die from either.

But I'll add the trauma of knowing they died violently in a fit of anger by someone genuinely pleased they were killing them feels completely different from the knowledge someone had an accident.

The next time you take your family to the cinema, or the mall, or to church, ask yourself if you fear more some drunk driver, or the crazed gun nut coming towards you with a Kalashnikov.

Or how about this one? The next time you take your family to the zoo, ask yourself if you fear more some drunk driver, or your young daughter falling into the gorilla pit. Number two? Right, then clearly let's legalise drink driving. If your fear is greater of the second option I presented you with then therefore there is no risk/danger involved with the first option I presented you with. Eat my Christian logic you Godless heathens!!

The point? You don't care about, guns, death or any of it. You care about disarming us in order to control us, and are pissed that we won't let you.

And it's easy to figure too. You don't care about armed maniac Islamists, you never mention bombs, fertilizer trucks, hatchets, Islamofascist beheadings, blah blah blah. You don't care about guns. The drunk driver. They are more common, and most guns are peaceful. Drunks are never peaceful, thus called "drunks".
