Bear Grylls vs. Les Stroud
They are both stranded in the Amazon Rainforest and it is June. They are only given a piece of flint, a hunting knife, and a canteen. Now, who would survive longer, given that they do not find any people for lets say 10 years?

Even though Bear Grylls isn't by himself, he's still way more down, 1. his name is Bear... Grylls 2. I've seen him jump in quicksand to "show how to get out incase you fall in" 3. jump in freezing anarctic water to "show how to get out incase you fall in" 4. jump off the side of a mountain to show what to do if you fall off the side of a mountain, 5. catch fish with an effing spear... yeah, I heard all that, and I'm really dissappointed if it's true. But you can't really fake the stuff I mentioned, and it is pretty informational even if he's checkin' into the hotel when the cameras are off. The survivor guy, he's cool and all, but he doesn't have that MTV Jack-Ass quality Bear has... But if he changed his name to like Tiger Barbeques, or Shark Deep-Fry's, well it might be closer ;) Side: Bear Grylls
I think that Bear uses a crew because it is the nature of his show.The things he knows and does are amazing and from the experience he has in the army and the wild all those years if he had to face a survival situation he would have no problem.It is because he knows that a crew is with him on his journeys that makes him more if u will ''relaxed'' but make no mistake the Bear is a WARRIOR ! ! I think immediately obvious is that he does all his own shows - by himself. He handles all the cameras and all the survival stuff by himself-alone. I think the mere fact that Grylls has all those people around him makes it a different game. I would trust Les Stroud hands down! Side: Les Stroud
I do have to give credit to Bear for his awesome name, but I would have to go with Les if it was a survival contest. Les's show deals with being stranded alone and not finding anyone, where Bear's is based on someone finding you.
