Best College Traditions
Lots of colleges say that their school is all about traditions. Which do you think has the best...or the worst?

I come from Georgia Tech, and most of the traditions come from the band. My favorite is the Rat Cap tradition. Once school-wide (now just the band), all freshmen have to wear a beanie cap with the bill folded out with the word RAT, the students name, and the students major written on the inside of the folded bill. On the back is written the popular term, "TO HELL WITH GEORGIA". On the body of the cap, the student was to write the score of every GT football game. Wins are written rightside-up and losses are written upside-down (ties, which no longer exist due to overtime, were written sideways). Side: Georgia Tech Rat Caps
There are so many traditions at the Naval Academy and I really hope to experience them. One of them is at the end of plebe (freshman) year, where the entire class has to scale up an obelisk to retrieve a cover (hat). The catch is that the entire monument is greased down so they basically have to use each other to reach it. It's called Herndon Monument and the event there marks the end of plebe year. Side: anything at the Naval Academy
