Best science fiction series?

I expect nigh everybody to say 'Star Wars'. I disagree - can't really understand what is so good about it.

I prefer Terminator.

The Space Odyssey series by Arthur C Clark

Since I am new to the site and I was just told I needed more characters I figure that I ought to put more characters so that I may submit my opinion on the matter at hand.

The Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov if we're talking books. It has tons of intrigue, stories, politics, and complexity. The first two Dune books were good too.

Sci-fi movies aren't usually very good. After all it's hard to make something exist that doesn't yet, as sci-fi writers are wont to make. However, I did like I am Legend, if you can categorize it as sci-fi.

I thought that Foundation was okay, but the science fiction of Jules Verne was greatly superior.

Meh,I didn't really like Journey to the Center of the Earth. It never grabbed me. But then again, I did read it when I was really little, so perhaps I'll give it another shot. I can't judge his other books because I only saw their movie adaptations.
