If people are losing their jobs it's because their jobs aren't that important. If those jobs go undone, no big deal. If those jobs were a big deal, they would be staffed. You don't see George losing his job, do you? ;)

That's a load of rubbish. There are several important people such as those involved in business, politics, economics, law, medicine, etc., who have lost their jobs because of the credit crunch. Are any of those not important?

"No big deal"

People might die if doctors lose their jobs. Imagine if your leg had fallen off and you needed a doctor urgently, but there was someone else who needed a doctor because their leg had fallen off, too. But due to government cuts one of you has to wait five minutes and die, whilst the other survives. Is that no big deal?

"You don't see George losing his job, do you?"

Maybe he should. He is the Chancellor of the Exchequer for England (in case you didn't know) and David Cameron is his boss, but he is also his friend - so why would he be sacked?

First off..., on your very first line..., that is not a direct quote. I used the word their not they're which just goes to show how much you know. Why would anyone side with you?

Second - if those jobs were so important, the country would be in a world of hurt a lot worse than what it is now.

Third - Iceland let banks failed and people lose their jobs and now their country is on it's way to recovery (unlike the Greeks that just want a handout).

Fourth - people are cheap. If one dies, no big deal. There's no shortage of people on this planet. And even if there was a shortage, people would just make more people and have fun doing it. But to address your specific point, only people who have money would be able to find a doctor and have their leg fixed. Those with money have money because they have a job. They have a job because they are important. Therefore, only unimportant people (and people who do not have important, powerful friends) would die off.

Why would anyone side with you?

The information in your fourth point about how only the unimportant people will die is irrelevant in my country because we have the NHS, and this is a debate about politicians from my country.

That's just ridiculous - they are politicians, they could both have movies named after them. Boris's could be: Boris. And why not? He has already had some books written because of him.

George Osborne has nothing to do with the Bourne Identity. I don't even think the Bourne Identity is a book; it is the Parciful Mosaic, or something. The Bourne Identity is the movie.
