Bronto Now Thinks Tax Is The "Opposite Of Socialism"
LOL!
Bronto: Not actually. Using taxes paid by people of of every class who work in a Capitalist system is the opposite of socialism
In order to measure the degree to which different states reflect socialist principles, we determined state expenditures and state GDP as the best indicators because socialist states tax and spend a higher percentage of their GDP.
1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property
b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
Your definition is a patent attempt at a red herring fallacy, since nowhere within it does it state or imply that there is no tax in a socialist society.
If the government owns all property, can it logically take a property tax from you?
Nobody mentioned taxing property, Bronto. It is very evident that you intentionally misrepresent the topic whenever you are proven to be wrong about anything. You do this because you are a liar and a silly partisan shill who would swear black is white rather than admit culpability for mistakes.
It was an example. You can't tax something that isn't there to tax.
But you are falsely implying that property tax is the only possible form of taxation. Therefore, you are attacking your own straw man argument, which is based on your own false assumption.
If you have all the money, how can you take money from me who has no money?
Citizens still have money in socialist society you idiot. Open a history book.
You've failed to address my simple points and questions with logic or at all.
Your "simple points" are fallacies and your questions are based on these same fallacies.

I implied nothing except that you cannot tax air.

Your own link says that in socialism...there is no money...

See above.
Still waiting for responses.
Still waiting for you to open a history book.
I'm not going to go the library, read an entire book, and find out you were wrong, when you just provided me a link that regutes your own claims.
Oh for God's sake give it up you insane dolt. I said socialists tax people. You said they can't tax people because socialists don't own property, hence implying property is the only way a person can be taxed.
I'm really not interested in your pathetic efforts to keep lying about things.
Your own link says that in socialism...there is no money
It is not "my link" you idiot. I didn't write it. I posted an excerpt from it about a completely unrelated matter, and then you did your usual trick of finding something wrong with some part of it, and trying to arbitrarily expand that one inaccuracy into meaning everything in the article must therefore be false. It's nothing more than an irritating populist trick and like everything else you ever write it is fallacious as fuck.
I'm not going to go the library, read an entire book
Ever, by the looks of things. You are perfectly content to simply keep inventing your own version of reality, which you have full authority to change as and when you see fit. Meanwhile, back in the real world, where people are held to account for being dishonest as fuck...
when you just provided me a link that regutes your own claims.
Oh for God's sake shut up you liar. Read this, which "regutes" (sic: the fuck?) YOUR own claims.
If the government owns all property and means of production, who exactly can it tax?
Good and services, dummy. This has the added value of not disrupting the economy too much, since all goods and services are already taxed by capitalists who intend to make a profit from them.
The turnover tax (Russian: налог с оборота) in the Soviet Union was first introduced during the Soviet tax reform of 1930–1932, soon after the end of the New Economic Policy. It was broadly similar to a Value Added Tax, though its specifics were crafted to serve various Soviet economic-planning goals. It was the main overt or explicit tax during much of the Soviet period, providing 104 billion rubles of the total Soviet state incoming revenue of 180 billion rubles in 1940, for example.[1] On June 30, 1975, the USSR Council of Ministers issued a decree about the turnover tax.
Didn't see much use dismantling your defense, because you didn't have one.
In reality, you are feebly trying to compare two uncomparable things. Obama didn't bail out banks by upping taxes on goods in a Socialist system. He bailed them out with taxes from Capitalism.
Also, taxing goods coming into the country from foreigners is mentioned nowhere in the definition of Socialism. You've added your own solution to cover your mistake.
I don't need a defence. You're the one who claimed tax is the opposite of socialism remember? The more you twist and lie about the fact you have backed yourself into a corner by even making this claim, contrary to your months and months of, "socialists want to tax all of us to high heaven", the more it indicates precisely what a slug-like mentality you have when it comes to respect for the truth.
Wrong. I have already proven your claim that tax is the opposite of socialism is wrong. I did not even need to do that much, since the burden of proof was on you to prove the affirmative. Yet I did it anyway, while being fought all the way by a gigantic chain of your incoherent lies, distortions, deflections and attempts to change the subject. Even now you cling onto the myth that socialists could not still tax their own goods and services in a society where there is no physical money. You're a slug Bronto, and everything you write is false.
I quoted your own link
About an entirely different matter than the one you were asked to defend.
I literally copy and pasted a paragraph from your link
Which had nothing to do with the claim you were asked to defend.
Democrats want to tax us into oblivian.
If you say so then it must therefore be true, because you definitely haven't cultivated a reputation for being a liar over the past three hours.
In a completely socialist society, there would be no money. Basic needs such as food, shelter, education and healthcare would be available and provided to everyone, so division of classes based on wealth would not exist.
Probably a good argument for why I shouldn't read an entire history book that you suggest. Perhaps you should have read your article as thoroughly as I did. I accept your article as true, and I accept your defeat therefore.
Probably a good argument for why I shouldn't read an entire history book that you suggest.
Funny. You seem to link Wikipedia a lot, which itself is absolutely stuffed with hoaxes and errors. That doesn't seem to bother your double standards at all.
Funny. You seem to link Wikipedia a lot, which itself is absolutely stuffed with hoaxes and errors.
I link it because it's the only source you seem to trust. You reference them nonstop. Would you be interested in examples of you linking wikipedia? Just ask.
Perhaps you should have read your article as thoroughly as I did.
Translation: Perhaps you should have checked that the article presented no opinions which I can then twist into meaning the entire article is wrong.
Perhaps you should get back onto the point. You claimed tax is the opposite of socialism. You are objectively wrong. Whatever else the article claimed about a completely unrelated matter, it is demonstrably correct that socialists still tax you.
Translation: Perhaps you should have checked that the article presented no opinions which I can then twist into meaning the entire article is wrong.
Real Translation: Hootie linked to an article stating that in Socialism there is no money, then got bewildered when I used his own article to establish my entire argument, intentionally trolling his own stupidity.
Perhaps you should get back onto the point. You claimed tax is the opposite of socialism. You are objectively wrong.
Taxing Capitalism is not socialism. It's taxing capitalism. In socialism, there is no evil capitalism to tax. According to your link, there's not even money to tax.
Hootie linked to an article stating that in Socialism there is no money
No liar, I linked to an article claiming socialists tax you. The other claim is something you have seized upon in an effort to change the subject.
Taxing Capitalism is not socialism.
Socialists who live in socialist countries pay tax. Therefore you are wrong. You will continue to be wrong whichever straw man argument you want to produce next, so please continue.
Perhaps you should get back onto the point. You claimed tax is the opposite of socialism.
I claimed that taxing Capitalism is not socialism. In socialism, there is no capitalism to tax. You already own all corporations and means of production. You retreated to tax incoming goods, despite no guarantee anyone buys or sells to you, in sufficient quantities or at all, when you tax them to death.
You are objectively wrong. Whatever else the article claimed about a completely unrelated matter, it is demonstrably correct that socialists still tax you.
I claimed that taxing Capitalism is not socialism.
Political systems are not taxed. PEOPLE are taxed. If you use even a single more fallacy or distortion again I am going to outright ban you. I'm absolutely sick of them.
See above.
See a doctor.
Your article disagrees with you.
No it doesn't. My article clearly states that socialists pay tax, which is the reason I posted it.
Nom, you are the one attempting to push everything into a mixed gray area, rather than the clear lines Bronto is defending. It is clear, your intent behind this is to utilize deceit, sophistry, and other vice-filled tactics in order to argue that "things are already kinda' like that, it is merely a matter of degree"--which is inaccurate, as Bronto pointed out.
Nom, you are the one attempting to push everything into a mixed gray area, rather than the clear lines Bronto is defending.
MathFan, you are an infantile, intellectually deficient troll who would literally side with Hitler if he were arguing with me about any topic in the universe. I'm not in the mood for your thinly-veiled personal attacks and deliberately fallacious diatribe you fucking pleb. You can go. Thanks. Please come again.
PS There is nothing "gray" about pointing out it is untrue that socialists do not tax you.
MathFan, you are an infantile, intellectually deficient troll who would literally side with Hitler if he were arguing with me about any topic in the universe
You literally agree with over 90% of Hitler's views.
NOM you like Socialism but what are the personal tax rates in Socialist Countries ? Can you use Al Gore's Amazing Internet to inform yourself ?????????
NOM you like Socialism but what are the personal tax rates in Socialist Countries ? Can you use Al Gore's Amazing Internet to inform yourself ?????????
No Outlaw, you don't understand. The tax rate is negative in socialist countries. The government gives YOU money. Just ask Bronto. Tax is the complete opposite of socialism.
Nathan Bedford Forrest (July 13, 1821 – October 29, 1877), called Bedford Forrest in his lifetime, was a cotton farmer, slave owner, slave trader, Confederate Army general during the American Civil War, first leader of the Ku Klux Klan, and president of the Selma, Marion, & Memphis Railroad.
Tell me Dummy Demorats are not members of the KKK !!!!!!!!
The Carlottesville protests were organized by Jason Kessler, who voted for Barack Obama
Since you are pretending that you don't understand the difference between past, present and future, let me spell it out for your dumb ass.
In the PAST, Jason Kessler CLAIMS he voted for Obama.
Right NOW, in the PRESENT, Jason Kessler is a white supremacist, neo-Nazi and Donald Trump voter.
See:-
Jason Eric Kessler (born September 22, 1983) is an American white supremacist[1][2][3], neo-Nazi,[4][5][6] and far-right political activist.[7][8][9]
Part of the alt-right, he is known for being the main organizer of the white nationalist Unite the Right rally held in Charlottesville, Virginia during August 11–12, 2017.[10][11][12]
The Dummy NOM says guberment gives you money LMMFAO ! Well dummy where does the guberment get the money you uninformed Socialist ???????
I was parodying Bronto's argument you dumbass. I've been arguing that socialists tax people for the past two days. It is he who claimed "tax is the opposite of socialism", because I had him trapped into being forced to admit tax saved capitalism in 2008.
At least try to follow the thread if you're going to make comments, you big drooling dummy.
because I had him trapped into being forced to admit tax saved capitalism in 2008
Tax from capitalism isn't socialism.
It looked like you provided a link saying that in socialism there is no currency and were cornered because you cannot tax no money. As I read on, I'm starting to wonder if you are one of those people who crawls around on all fours & hisses at the ceiling.
Denmark - 22% corporate tax and personal tax rate of 55.56% (including 8% social security paid by the employee but excluding 0.42–1.48% church tax imposed on members of the national Church of Denmark
LMMFAO !!!!!!!!!! The guberment gives away tax payer dollars you Dumb ASS ??
What you have been asked Dummy is what are personal taxes in Socialist Countries? I have linked it to you but all you can do is avoid the reality !!!!!!!!!!!!!
