Pd 8:

Capulets are innocent because they weren't involved in Juliet's life. Back then, if you were wealthy, you had a Nurse take care of your child and parents didn't have much to do with the child's upbringing. For example, Nurse says, "Yes, I know her age down to the hour" (I.iii.39). This quote by Nurse proves Nurse raised Juliet instead of Capulets. Lady Capulet didn't even know Juliet's age and Nurse knows her age down to the hour. So, her parents are not responsible for her or her actions because they know nothing about her life.

Some might say that the Capulet parents are innocent because they weren't even involved in Juliet's life. But, the capulets parents are guilty because they don't care how she feels. Yes, Nurse took care of her but that only shows that Juliet's parents don't wanna take care of their child they only want her to get married to Paris so they can all move on. Juliet killed herself because she wants to be with Romeo. If her parents really cared about how she felt then, they would've let her be happy with Romeo.

Pd 5:

Capulet is innocent because he tried to give his child, Juliet, the best life she could have. For example, Capulet states, "Goddamnit! It makes me mad, day and night, hour after afterm all the time, at work, at play, alone in company, my top priority has always been to find her a husband. Now I've provided a husband from a noble family, who is good looking, young, well-educated. He's full of good qualities ... an she refuses!" (III.v.201). This quote proves Capulet is innocent because he is trying to pick her a husband that will take care of her and treat her wlel. He is a goo father and would want her to marry Paris . If she would have married Paris, she would have never been in a situation where she had to choose life or death. But, marrying Romeo is what lead to her death, so this proves Capulet never had anything to do with Juliet's death as he was trying to set her up for a good marriage.

Of course, we can see how the Capulet parents wanted to find Juliet a good husband, one that would take care of her and love her. However, by forcing her hand in marriage without her consent, led her to take matters into her own hands. To prove this point, in Romeo and Juliet, when Juliet is speaking to Friar Lawrence, she states, "I want to die if what you say isn't another solution" (IV.i.213). This quote proves our point because her parents are forcing her to get married, and this caused Juliet to go to the last resort. The last resort is either taking her own life, or Friar Lawrence giving her another plan to get out of her parent's love trap.

Pd 7:

The Capulet parents are guilty because they didn't really care for Juliet. the only reason they had to care when for Juliet marrying Paris. For example, Capulet says, "...forget about you, you worthless girl, dis disobedient wretch! I'll tell you what. Go to church on Thursday or never look me in the face again!" (III.v.201). This quote shows that the Capulet parents don't actually care for Juliet. They just want her to marry Paris and if she doesn't, they never want to see her again.

Some might say that Capulet is guilty because he attempted to force Juliet into marriage. On the other hand, Capulet is innocent because Juliet killed herself after seeing Romeo's dead body in the Montague family tomb. This proves that Capulet did not cause Juliet's death. She only died because she wanted to be with Romeo in the afterlife, not because she was being forced to marry Paris.

Pd 2:

The Capulet parents are guilty because they put their satisfaction over loving their daughters feelings, which made her risk her life for love. For example, when Lady Capulet states, “do as you please because I am done worrying about you” (III.v.203). In addition, Capulet also states, “if you don’t act as my daughter you can beg starve and die in the streets” (III.v.205). The Capulet parents are guilty because they believe that if Juliet doesn’t listen to what they think is best for her, they will disown her and shut her out of their lives. If her parents would’ve given her support she would not have gone to such extremes to be with the one she truly loves, Romeo. Therefore it is their fault that she killed herself.

Some might say that The Capulets are guilty because they put themselves above Juliet and her feelings. But, The Capulets are innocent because they provided her with a nurse who loved and cared for her, a nice house and money. Therefore they set her up to have a good life and Juliet made the choice to kill herself over a guy.
