I wish that there was an option of "neutral" instead of just "favor" or "oppose."
Anyways, I both favor and oppose your above post, Kuklapolitan. ;)
I agree that when we have issues, the creators should listen to them, this site is a beta release after all!
I agree that there is no reason why one's efficiency rating should go down, or up, that much so soon... unless there is foul play going on. I am sorry that this happened to you.
I will admit that I will up or down vote people's posts with out always posting why... some times some one already said it better than me, but it is our right to use the CD site as it is designed... to vote up or down debates we agree with or against... not the people posting them!
I do not agree that we should limit the age on this site... we should want the youth... (of which myself at 28 is still part of as I have a LOT to learn in this world still...) to learn from the adults, or more experienced, in a topic of debate! For example, I know a lot of about nutrition, it is my field, and I know more than my parents on the topic. But there are lots of other things, like being a parent, that they know more about than I do. My point is we can all learn from each other! You said it right in that it is an issue of experience in life... and not one's age. Who are we to judge at what age some one had the proper experiences to debate a topic? Maybe by learning what the younger generations think about things, we can learn how to better communicate and educate them, or even learn some thing from them. What is learned/gained by kicking them off the CD site or pushing them aside to one section of the debate? Do we do the same with different genders, races, etc? No! Technically, this is ageism!
Also, you ask others to not use personal attacks... but above you personally attack some one! Now, I understand that you felt like you were defending yourself, and you have that right... but you could have also been the bigger (maybe older, more experienced, more intelligent, so you said) person and let it go with out stooping to their level.
