Yes, because there is no law saying that this is illegel. Even if it was, they are downright crazy. Designers designed shorts for everyone to wear it. Not only for the teens or little kids. Mothers should have the right to wear it to because that may be their passion and we should not take that away from them. Gays also have the right to wear what they want. It is inappropriate for people to think they can't because they have the right to wear the shorts and there is no law that says 'only girls are allowed to wear short shorts'. Side: yes

people are free to do what they want to do its what they like best, if they want to wear a short skirt that is up to them if they want to wear a kilt that is also fine i can see why some people are conserned about people wearing shorts because if they are very short you start to feel uncomftable about being around that person. They can and I wouldn't recommend in fact I would hate it specially if people don't wear short shorts for comfort but for attraction. Why would they attract someone if they would probably come only for the body? Seriously I hate it and many would agree but we can't put a law for them. But everywhere at any time? No...... Side: yes

I have worn them for years and quite comfortable in them. However, I have been yelled at in several states in the US by a wide variety of people. Including Police, people driving by, people I am jogging past of laying out on the beach. Hiking in the mountains, 1 person said they were going to turn me in to the Rangers. Walking with my wife on a 100 F day, another lady screamed nasty things as she made the turn past us. Obviously, it is up to the person's personal perspectives. At the same time, I can walk in to a couple of locations and I get harsh remarks if I do not wear them. Turns out, many ladies +- my age by 10 yrs like me in the shorts and like my legs from all the exercise. Hasn't ever gotten me any offers but a few pats now an then. A few whistles from those ladies too. I figure - if I like them in the short shorts and they wear them too - perfect! May not be able to touch (never been invited to do so) but certainly helps a day go by with smiles for each. One Co Owner laughed, I showed up one day in long cloths (cold morning). He got complaints from the ladies. When the day warmed up, back to shorts - all happy again. Told me in the future, wear long outside and short inside. Helps keep moral up. Too funny. At least I know the body is in reasonable shape. Such contrasts - positively terrible and disgusting to some while pleasing to others. Sounds like just about everything else in this world. Chocolate or Vanilla anyone? Maybe Strawberry or Mint Chip?.... A world of personal tastes - important in all of it - the choice and ability to do so. Side: yes

I have to say no. But not because I'm against people feeling comfortable enough with themselves to wear whatever, but because fat people are just repulsive to me. And I don't mean to offend anyone, but if you're fat that automatically makes me think you're unhealthy. And you're unhealthy, I think, because you're lazy. And what kind of person does that make you? So don't let fat people think it's okay to be fat. And tell them to cover up those thighs. Side: no
The point is that fat people are UNHEALTHY. I don't care what people look like if they can't control it. But being fat is something you can control, something that can kill you, and something that just shows you don't care about yourself. So yes, you read it correctly. Side: yes

"But not because I'm against people feeling comfortable enough with themselves to wear whatever, but because fat people are just repulsive to me. " This is a selfish reason for not wanting someone to be comfortable with themselves in public. I mean if someone has some kind of genetic abnormality, should they cover their "shame" too? Or what about mental retardation, autism, rheumatism, etc., I mean, everybody finds something repulsive. I sometimes find it hard to tolerate petulant children misbehaving in public with parents who only think it's really cute or funny, but I wouldn't try to claim they should all be kept on short leash's, even though I wouldn't fucking mind it:-) Also, you have to consider that some people are fat because of underlying medical conditions, or else maybe they are suffering some kind of trauma in their lives and food is one the few pleasures they still have control over, or perhaps the person is naturally heavy set/husky/big boned/stout, I know this is the classic excuse, but it is true of many people. I mean humans come in all shapes and sizes, and I personally wouldn’t have it any other way. Personally, I think conventional beauty, or what is deemed hot/sexy/attractive by society today is very much overrated anyway, it's all completely superficial, it's all image with very little substance, it's like a really nice looking candy wrapper, and it looks full, but when you go to open it up you find the candy isn't there. Ok, I'm going off topic, you get drift. Peace out!!! Side: yes
I wouldn't care if it didn't mean that the person was unhealthy. Being fat is a sign that you're unhealthy and probably going to die younger. Someone with a mental disorder is COMPLETELY different. They can't help it, nor was it ever their fault. As for the medical condition, there's not THAT many people with a disorder that prevents them from losing weight, though they may use it as an excuse. No. When people suffering from obesity believe it acceptable for them to wear revealing clothing, it means society considers obesity to be acceptable, or even the norm. Obesity is not acceptable; obesity is a disease. Those who are obese will remain sick if society gives them the message that it is alright for them to be as such. Obese and overweight people must realize that they are unwell, and fix their problem. We are not helping them by making excuses for their bodies, or telling them their illness is beautiful. Side: no
