The trend is heading towards a nigh on cashless society.

Well now, aren't you the grown up little financial wonder child.

For 36 years I employed over 130 full time workers who were paid by Bankers Automated Clearing Service,B.A.C.S., then latterly by BACS Payment Services, Ltd., also known as B.A.C.S.

I took this opportunity to highlight to the declining use of cash for point of sale transactions.

A monetary whiz-kid like you should find such an apparent drift away from the more traditional use of cash for purchases of all kinds to be interesting.

Or are you just another 2 bit example of the standard CreateDebate provocateur?

First of all you chose this side specifically just to say that both sides are equally stupid so no matter which side you chose it wouldn't make sense but you happened to choose the incorrect side. Second, the monetary system is becoming obsolete as we approach a type 1 civilization. But of course, you don't believe in that because you think the earth is flat. I wonder what you think will happen when humans reach that level of technology.

Society cannot function without money and money cannot function without society. 'Yes' is not supported by myself.
