The world is changing and it is time for people to step up in tackling global warming. It takes a collective effort to solve such a large scale problem. However, we do not need all to chip in; only the majority will do. Firstly, countries are willing to change. They are now considering the environment as a factor in sustainable development.Australia has initiated the controversial carbon tax. In addition, many other countries are willing and have implemented such or similar measures to curb global warming. Secondly, societys' view on global warming are changing. Previously, in the 20th century, global warming was viewed as a mere hypothesis or even a folklore. Never was there any emphasis on the environment in the past. However, nowadays, people view things differently. Green parties, Save The Earth Foundation and United Nations Environment Programme are some of the many parties or association which have emerged to tackle global warming. Furthermore, participation in such environmental initiated activites are ever becoming more popular. Thus, in conclusion, collective efforts of the individual, society and people will allow us to tackle global warming successfully. We do not neccessarily require the majority to participate to conquer the problem. We need people to make the first step and the rest will inevitably follow.

The topic sentence is not very clear. In addition, your examples merely show the variety of measures taken, however, you have not evaluated whether these measures have made progress in reducing carbon emissions or not - this is the first step to some success. Hence, 'successfully' in this question has not been strongly argued for. Having a variety of measures does not always mean that there is success in solving the problem.

Any Efforts to stop Global Warming will end in failure. However, it will prove to be a great success when science determines that there is nothing man can do to stop global warming, because man is not causing it, nature is. Here:

The Facts of Global Warming

What is concisely referred to as global warming, is a fatal mistake of the present time.

- Václav Klaus

In the beginning, only a few certain individuals were actually skeptical of Global Warming. Numerous scientific and political authorities had already reached a consensus that Global Warming was caused by man, and presented a eminent danger to both human civilization and planet Earth itself. At the time, the few brave critics of this 'consensus' were roundly ridiculed by the powers that be, which included a substantial number of reputable journalists. Indeed, the news media accepted Global Warming without question. Now, in the second decade of the third millenium, those few global warming 'deniers' may well have been right after all and they have been joined by a growing number of scientists in their skepticism that the Earth is experiencing unprecendented increases in temperature due to man-made activity. At least two national figures, one a politician, the other an economist, have gone so far as to deem Global Warming as a hoax, a fraud that should be 'denied' by all concerned. Their statements read as follows:

Private industry and governments around the world have spent trillions of dollars in the name of saving our planet from manmade global warming....Mounting evidence suggests that claims of manmade global warming might turn out to be the greatest hoax in mankind's history.

- Walter E. Williams

With all of the hysteria, all of the fear, all of the phony science, could it be that man-made global warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people? It sure sounds like it.

- James M. Inhofe

Far more troubling is the increasing understanding among at least some observers that Global Warming was, is, and will continue to be an actual scientific mistake, a deliberate attempt to prove something that just was not true at all. Call it a fraud or a scandal, or perhaps even an honest mistake. Regardless of the labels, a growing number of actual scientists are voicing their increasing concern over the so-called 'science' of Global Warming. These experts have some particulary harsh criticism concerning this subject, which was, until recently, considered by many to be a scientific 'fact', an 'inconvenient truth' in the words of one of the most famous environmental activists- former Vice President Albert Gore, Jr. Here is what at least some scientists have to say most recently about Global Warming:

[Global Warming is] the biggest ever scientific fraud.

- Andrei Kapitsa

Global warming is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist.

- Harold Lewis

[Global Warming is] worst scientific scandal in the history.... When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists.

- Dr. Kiminori Itoh

Global warming -- at least the modern nightmare vision -- is a myth. I am sure of it and so are a growing number of scientists. But what is really worrying is that the world's politicians and policy makers are not.

- David Bellamy

Global warming is indeed a scam, perpetrated by scientists with vested interests, but in need of crash courses in geology, logic and the philosophy of science.

- Martin Keeley

To put it bluntly, the great man-made global warming catastrophe that was predicted has been canceled! And that is a victory for science.

- Marc Moran

These are some fairly strong words, coming from a diverse array of individuals who seem to know what they are talking about. It seems that the scientific 'consensus' concerning Global Warming is actually non-existent as more and more of the public have begun to have serious doubts about its actual validity. For various political reasons, most especially the fact that many of today's environmental activists were yesterday's Leftist and Socialists, the 'facts' of Global Warming had already become a very common mantra of 21st century Western liberalism. Not surprisingly, most, if not all, of the left-leaning mainstream media has remained very reluctant to admit that science may have been mistaken about Global Warming. It has been aptly noted that:

Global warming has taken the place of Communism as an absurdity that 'liberals' will defend to the death regardless of the evidence showing its folly.

- John Ray

Too many journalists and scientists have built their careers on the global-warming alarm. Certain newspapers have staked their reputation on it. The death of this theory will be painful and ugly. But it will die. Because it is wrong, wrong, wrong.

- Martin Durkin

Regardless of the outcome about the on-going scientific debate over this issue, one thing is crystal clear. A growing number of people, experts and common observers alike, feel that they have been duped into believing something which may not be true. Some even go so far as to claim that Global Warming was, from its inception, a blatant lie.

Can you EVER make an argument on your own without giving us a long list of quotes?

Seriously, I'm not going to read "Global warming is the biggest ever scientific fraud" when you had posted in another argument "Evolution is the biggest scientific fraud"

Both of which were quotes by people none of us have met. It's clear you value and trust authority, but some of us actually do question what people "above" us say and think about it. That includes questioning global warming, questioning evolution, questioning everything you know.

And learning that evolution IS true, that global warming IS caused mainly by humans along with a natural cyclic process, and that many things I know have been wrong, and have been corrected.

You seem to NEVER correct yourself, because you are sure you are correct without question.

I think we're too late to save the world from global warming.

There are many different things the world is obsessed with, when it comes to saving our planet.

- Making the CO2-emission much less than it is today (which have seem to be kinda successful)

- Fight Animal Cruelty (there included green peace vegetarians. I'm not counting in vegetarians, who are veggies because its healthy, but I'm counting in those who are veggies to save animals, or fight animal cruelty)

- Give to the poor

- Eat organic food, and use ecological products

- Finish all wars forever

- much more.. welcome to make examples.

You're probably wondering what my point is.

The world is obsessed with saving the world. Although, how we imagine a 'saved world' is different in every eye.

Some think, that a world without animal cruelty, is complete.

Some think, that a world without poorness, a world where nobody is hungry - is a saved world.

To save the world from global warming, will take that all people and companies are on board.

But sadly, some are busy saving the world their own way. Like fighting animal cruelty and stuff.

Some do nothing of what I mentioned above, some do one thing .. very few can manage to do them all, or very few can afford to do them all.

Because when your fighting global warming, you need expensive equipments to lower your CO2-emission.

When you're fighting animal cruelty, you have to donate money, in order to do so, because everything costs money.

You see where I am going?

In order to save the world from global warming, the whole world must participate. In order to stop all animal cruelty, the whole world must participate. In order to make every stomach on earth full every day, the whole world must participate.

You can't save global warming, because there will always be some people (probably the majority even), who don't care.
