Sure. You can force them to die, by killing them. You can force them to remain in a particular location by obstructing their ability to leave. Rape forces an individual to engage in sexual intercourse against their will. To be fair, it could be said that these are all in fact limiting them from taking an alternate action rather than having them take an action, so how about this: Those with phobias and certain mental disorders can be forced into episodes by displaying their triggers. Being a slave is a choice. You are always choosing to do something, even if your choice is to do what someone asks and/or tells you to do. And by making your own choices, you are never forced to do anything, and always free. During the initiation of slavery, one is asked... Do you value your life, or your freedom? And by choosing to live one would think that they'd chosen to be a slave, but that isn't true. Because you always have a choice, you are never a slave, and even when put to physical work that you would rather not do in your life, you're always free of mind. Side: No

Even a slave has a say so in whether they want to do any certain action or not. Slave owners do not truly force their slaves to obey, they simply instill that if they do not do what is asked of them they will be punished accordingly which crates a fear in those slaves that causes them to chose to obey rather than get punished Side: No

My first instinct was to choose yes, but .. then I thought about it for a while. You can of course point the gun at someone and make them do stuff, but they can always choose to not do it and be shot instead, so in a way they still have options, and that is .. kind of the opposite from ''to force'' You can make people do stuff they don't wanna do, but you can't force them. You also have to put the outcome of the situation in mind. You had the choice to pick the rock up or not. But if you didn't pick the rock up you'd be shot. The person behind the gun knows you want your life. So by giving him a choice to pick the rock up or not, he's forcing him into making the choice to live. Which by definition he would be forcing him to do something Side: Yes

Yeah that's true.. but if someone says ''pick up that gun or I'll shoot you'' If they didn't pick up the rock .. does that mean they chose to be shot or they didn't choose at all? I don't know if that makes sense, but for me, I often don't do stuff because I can't really decide if I wanna do it or not .. resulting in me not doing it. Understand? Side: Yes

I didn't really think of that when I wrote my argument, but .. I don't know. I've never been raped, so I can't really say if they deliberately force you, or just trick you into doing stuff you don't really want to do, or maybe threaten you to do stuff you don't wanna do. But like I said, fortunately I have no way of knowing. Side: Yes
