"Capitalism" mean an economic system with the right to freely own property and freely trade with others. "Socialism" means an economic system where the government manages property rights. What has been demonized as "capitalism" is an entirely normal and natural economic system, in harmony with human instincts. People like to own stuff. It has been shown again and again that when a person manages his or her own stuff, he or she also cares for it more passionately and takes a better care of it than when a state bureaucrat manages stuff. Example: Cotton farming in USA for the past 100 years versus USSR (Communist Russia) cotton farming in the Aral Sea region in the 1960s-1980s. Which was better for the farmers, the government and for nature itself? Side: Capitalism.
