Anyways, as much as I hate cussing, with the technology we have it's getting easier and easier for parents to control what their kids watch. They can block certain shows and channels and even websites.

So no, I don't see why government should have anything to do with this.

I say the cable companies make a censor option. So that people can choose to sensor whatever they want. I can see cable companies making lots of money on that idea.

That way:

The economy is helped,

Kids don't hear cuss words. (unless their parents don't give a crap)

Parents don't have to worry.

People that like cussing can hear it.

And the government has to stick to the constitution and mind their own business.

For fuck sake ,NO.if you dont like it then Get off your fucking arse and change the fucking channel. SWEARING can be a great release,and it really is about expressional tone.For an example replace the words FUCK & FUCKED with the words MATE & MATED in the various tones FUCK & FUCKED can be applied, just to see what i mean. On the tv & radio, the bleeps over the cussing annoys me more.

Censorship is fucking needed because if the shitty, little children every here a God damn swear word then those little bastards might start swearing themselves. Because it's not like those little bitches haven't heard swearing on the internet or in shitty rap songs or any gay shit like that.

Besides, I fucking love the idea that some cocking sucking, douche down in Washington knows what words are appropriate for a community that he has never been too because it is too shitty for his royal ass to ever consider going to and thought that since his morals are right every fucking time that it gives him the right to censor ing swearing.

i think that they shouldnt censor cuss words because its freedom of speech and people cuss all the time

I think this applies to freedom of speech, and is unneccesary, its just words, no matter what they mean they arent wrong because of their meaning, especially since alot of them are fine except for the way they are used, Gay, a word of happiness is on its way to being added to the list of inappropriet words

I also believe that censoring swear words effect are rights under the constitution making it unconstitutional.

Okay I think that they should keep the censoring of cuss words because when little kids hear that they are going to think of that word as an okay word to say. Do we really want our kids going around say Fuck, Shit, Bitch? Not really. I think all of the people who are saying no dont censoring the fuckin cuss words are stupid and obviously don't care about the kids future. And I am 15 and use some of those words but I care (:

a rose by any other name would still smell just as sweet. we censor cuss words such as fuck, bitch, and shit. however we dont censor words that have the same meanings such as bang, cunt, and crap. what is the point of censoring one word but not another word with the same meaning? if we let the government censor words, where will it stop, they will keep censoring until were not allowed to use words all together. we have the right to freedom of speach, if you dont want your kids swearing dont let them learn cuss words, if it affends you to watch a show that has swear words in it then get off your lazy fat ass and change the channel. im going to fucking cuss all i want so fuck those pussies who cant handle a simple word.

That or those who write the scripts could simply just take the words out. It actually detracts from films and television. Cuss words are in many ways like filler words for hollywood and sitcoms. It's kind of pathetic.

The fact is swear words are just an excuse for a more intelligent word that could be put in its place.

By using swear-words, we are depleting our vocabulary by instead of using intelligent, logical words we put an obscene, derogatory term which the majority of people use out of context.

I don't believe in censorship but I think a compromise can be made in regards to television with cuss words only being said on late night television.

I am so Sick and Tired of these television programs "Bleeping" every other word! Can't they just "Silence" what words come out of their mouth like Heck, Damm, F-----k, etc? This Bleep is Very irratitating to me. I have to just shut off the tv.I guess i will have to watch Disney channel or Nickolodean, even though i am 65 years old.At least I won't have to hear Annoying "Bleeps" on kids shows.
