All geniuses who surfaced on the earth were never atheists. They all claimed it stupidity.

Lord kelvin, isaac newton, Albert eistein, Leonardo da vinci

"The Da Vinci Code portrays Leonardo as blatantly anti-Catholic or, more generally, anti-Christian. What he precisely believed is unclear, but he did perceive of science as understanding the God who had created nature. To him, God was the First Mover of all, ‘‘the Light of all things’’ who designed all things.

While most of his religious views are not well-known, and although he struggled with specific religious patterns, he was by no means an agnostic or atheist (as some have portrayed him). Allegations as to his sexual orientation are equally undemonstrated; contrary to Brown’s claims, there is no evidence that he was homosexual. He was once accused of sodomy, but the charges were dropped."

Again with this nonsense about "atheists" as if we all believed the exact same things and acted in the exact same way.

And for the record, this proves absolutely nothing: aside from the fact that the validity of the IQ test as a means of testing general intelligence, as opposed to a few specific forms of intelligence, is far from proven, you'd be surprised at how easy it is for intelligent people to make themselves believe dumb things. In fact, there are plenty of things so dumb that you have to have some intelligence to believe them. I believe Orwell wrote quite a lot about this.

You all have a "lack of belief in god(s)". So your claim is incorrect.

Then why would you trust your own intellect or trust a brain that was constructed by? No intelligent designer....

If you are all about George Orwell, perhaps you should read "1984". It describes what looks like the modern Democratic party, only at that time it was translated as a dark, nightmarish vision of the future. I want to shout at the top of my lungs to liberals,"1984 was not an instruction manual! It was a warning!"

Exactly. So we are made to think.

And also to make us think theists are superstitious idiots who cannot afford logical systematic reasoning.

But here it turns out 8 out of 10 of the world's highest IQ's are theists(The acclaimed idiots). And even 6 are of the most hated by atheists religion, christianity.

Yeah theists are really dumb indeed right?

But i wonder where it leaves atheists.(Simply; empty barrels makes the most noise, atheists)

WHEN does that become a narrative?? DUDE!

This is only a good research indicating atheism is highly inclined to or associated with lowly intelligent people(not second class animals). In other words people who lack the mental capacity to comprehend the possibility or fact of the existence of an a supreme designer , God.

Side: Checkmate

Again, I haven't seen any atheist shouting "I'm an atheist and smarter than you(theists)" whether you believe in God or not, you will find people with high iqs on both sides of the arguments. I feel the misconception of atheists claiming to be smarter is because of the argument that smarter people from the past have chosen atheism. That clearly doesn't imply you're gonna have an iq greater than 180 if you chose atheism. It's a misconception.

It's important to be aware that poor old Bronto is a resentful old man with an obsessive personality disorder compounded by a mild form of autism.

This psychotic is obsessed with religion and this obsession manifests itself by his irrational loathing of anyone who doesn't conform to what he considers to be the ''path of righteousness''.

His inability to control the minds of others causes him frustration leading to his altogether outlandish claims and being openly insulting to all those who don't accept his embarrassing drivel.

He does however, present a certain entertainment value and his obsessive-compulsive behavior could fill the itinerary for a psychiatrist's weekend convention.

He's so easy to trigger and can be activated by expressing a counter-argument. Then it's bang, and off he goes like a greyhound out of the traps.

One must have the intelligence to recognize that all those who profess to be theists may not be so at all, but declare their faith for reasons of personal gain.

For instance, many would judge the term, 'a Christian Politician' to be a contradiction in terms.

When I attend the annual ''Christian Businessman's Breakfast'' which normally has an attendance of some 500 honest, holier-than- thou ''Christians' almost all of whom, including me, use the opportunity to distribute their business cards and to seek out potential customers.

Also, many use the front of a religious faith to mask some character defect such as cowardice and other personality disorders.

A theist is someone who believes in the existence of Gods, or a creator, and I'm of the opinion that the origins and accuracy of this alleged survey is dubious and therefore its predetermined outcome should be taken with a ''DOSE OF SALTS'.

My personal opinion is that there must be a 'creator'(s) but none of the man made hocus pocus mumbo jumbo as detailed in a multi authored book nor the rants of the paedophile prophet Mohammed.

Anyone who believes in such fairy tales as Adam & Eve or Noah's Ark would believe horse balls are lemons.

Could I interest you in a container load of citrus fruit?

You do know that Adam and Eve and the serpent is an allegory for the fall of man right? "Adam" is literally the Hebrew word for "mankind".

Satan is referred to In Revelation as a dragon (meaning evil and powerful) and a serpent (sneaky, crafty, evil, etc), and as a "devil". But he is not literally any of those things.

http://biblehub.com/revelation/20-2.htm

Judas Iscariot was referred to as a "devil" by Christ as well.

http://biblehub.com/john/6-70.htm

The story tells us about trees which Jesus referenced himself, each one of us, and Satan as allegorical trees.

These "trees" have fruit. Jesus referenced "fruit" as something that comes from the tree that shows whether the tree is "good" or "bad".

The Noah story is an allegory for the end of the world.

In Matthew 24:37, Jesus references the Noah story to allegorically show what the "Coming of the Son of Man" will be "like".

In Matthew 13:10 the disciples ask Jesus why he speaks in parables -

"The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?"

http://biblehub.com/matthew/13-10.htm

In Matthew 13:11 Jesus tells them why he uses parables-

"He replied, "Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them."

-Here Christ talks about a "tree of life" that you can eat from-

"Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God." Revelation 2:7

-Here Christ compares his body to bread and has them eat, and they aren't literally eating him-

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19)

-Here Christ compares people to trees and talks about their "fruit"-

"By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Matthew 7:16"

"No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. (Luke 6:43)

"Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers." (Luke 6:44)

-As compared to the "trees" in the "garden" in the Adam and Eve story-

"The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground--trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." (Genesis 2:9)

In a world now controlled by a liberal press and liberal Hollywood, I see no political benefit on the left to saying you are a Christian. Perhaps there are people on the left purposefully saying they are agnostic for political gain. That door swings both ways.

"Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God." Revelation 2:7

In John 14:6 Christ says that He is life. When He says "tree of life" he's referring to himself.

-Here Christ compares his body to bread and has them eat, and they aren't literally eating him-

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19)

-So here we see Christ, "the tree of life" in the "garden" in the Adam and Eve story of Genesis.

The whole thing is an allegory to compare a deep concept to something man can grasp.
