Christians are atheists.

Christians, as well as every other religious person on the planet, holds an atheistic stance on every God or collection of Gods other than the one they so happen to believe in. You're very ready to reject Zeus, Odin, Helios, Allah, Vishnu, Buddha, Waheguru and the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Most of you believe what you do simply because you were raised to believe in that religion and have never taken the initiative to form your own opinion based on facts and evidence. When you come to terms with the reason you don't believe in every God you don't, you've found my reason for not believing in the one, or few, you choose to.

Christians aren’t atheist because they believe in a God. An atheist believes that there is no a God or gods, so therefore a Christian isn’t a atheist.

So you disputed semantics on a clickbait title. Good for you. Do you have anything to contribute to the actual point being made?

I did, and that is my response.

Agreed, and vice versa.

I disagree. While I hold to my belief in the God I worship I am more then willing to accept other peoples faith in their God and even acknowledgement that those Gods could exist. To me, my God is the one true God. To them, theirs probably is. We just don't know.

ok, this sounds absurd to me

"To me, my God is the one true God", what does that mean? do you believe in that god? do you hold the opinion that he is real?

well if you are talking about the Christian god than that directly contradicts the Islamic god, for example, so you cant believe in both... being "willing to accept other peoples faith in their God" isn't the same as believing in that god yourself and is not what the argument above proposed

and no, "acknowledgement that those Gods could exist." is also not the same as believeing in them

The Supreme and Ultimate Reality is God.

These other gods do exist, but they are created beings. They are mortals with lifespans like everything else in creation.

The One True Eternal God is The Supreme and Ultimate Reality.

Many Christians were accused of being atheists back in the early days of the Roman Empire.

In fact, just about every atheist argument at some point in history was used by Christians to expose false deities.

Successful atheist arguments, that is, arguments that are actually legitimate, do nothing to disprove God, they only show how our understanding of God is off.

I, FOR ONE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT CHRISTIANS ARE ATHEIST, CERTAINLY NOT. ATHEISTS ARE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THAT THERE IS NO GOD AND ONLY BELIEVE IN ANCESTORS.HOW CAN YOU SAY A CHRISTIAN IS ATHEIST, HOW CAN YOU BE A CHRISTIAN IF YOU ARE ATHEIST I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD GET THEIR FACTS RIGHT.CHRISTIANS ARE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY BELIEVE IN GOD, READ THE BIBLE AND ALSO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD HIMSELF

I disagree , Christians believe in what they identify as one particular god , some people believe in Yetis yet find the notion of belief in other such creatures as absurd whatever you ,I or anyone else believes

I believe that you can be any race or have any religion and obviously still have your own person ongoing points and views but there is no right and wrong it’s simply up to the individual person and what they want to believe in. But Christians are not atheists they just have faith

Christians are atheists.

Just because you're religious doesn't mean you can't acknowledge the existence of other beliefs. Also, atheists are people who don't believe in any god. Also also, Jesus of Nazareth was Jewish.

I never said you can't acknowledge the existence of other beliefs; I stated that you reject every other god as reality. I don't know the exact number of gods that have been believed in throughout history, but if I estimate it at 500 then that means I don't believe in 500 gods, while christians don't believe in 499 gods. They actively will tell you they don't believe in the other 499 gods (providing an atheistic stance) or that they don't know if they exist or not (providing an agnostic atheistic stance). Find me someone who believes in all 500 though; now that'd be a show.

I stated that you reject every other god as reality.

Christians believe in a god. Atheists don't believe in any.

I love how atheists claim to be "free thinkers", but only parrot each other all day.

No, moron, we are not atheistic, especially because we do not reject other gods based on delusion and narcissism as atheists wish away the Biblical God but because God says so.

And given that Christianity started as a tiny Jewish sect before taking over the world and is believed by all people-groups in all nations, you are delusional to think Christians believe what they do because of the status of their birth, but the mentally ill have to believe delusions.

And, pond scum, please tell us by what rational means you use to determine fact from fiction. I need a good laugh as you expose your ignorance and irrationality.

Christians reject many gods and believe in only one. Atheists simply reject one more than a Christian.
