We have some really bad ones in the U.S. who would likely burn scientists at the stake if they thought they could get away with it, and create their own style of "liberty", to go with their own "NEW" Constitution. I highly recommend: "Religious Right_The Greatest Threat to Democracy" available on Amazon for about $2. Written by one of their own … who quit.
