Charity is literally the commandment that Jesus gave to those who love him. If you aren't practicing charity, you are not really a Christian. As for the hands and feet on the street that actually go out of their way to show charity to the downtrodden and poor... the presence is overwhelmingly Christian. Charity is literally the religion of Christ. Love of The Truth leads to sincere charity. That is the faith. Side: True

The Left hates Bible believing Christians because we show their true colors. The Democrat Party loves forcing tax payers to subsidize their low income voting blocks. They are terrible when to comes to freely giving of their own money to help the needy. They would rather force tax payers to fund their socialistic ideology. Government bankrupts everything it touches and is why charity should mainly be given from people and Church. I have no problem with safety nets from Government, but the Socialist Democrat Party has taken it way too far. We are 20 Trillion in debt buying votes for the Democrat Party. Side: True

Yeah, thats why here in my city the church feeds thousands of hungry people everyday including people who can't leave the home and people without homes who live on the street. Thats why the church in my city goes out of its way to care about these people in a relational sense. See, you aren't seeing the full picture, and these things are really going on. The church in my city even sets up downtown and does a sunday service for the homeless outside with music, preaching, food, clothes, and relationship. So the church does more than you think, and if a church doesn't do these things, look at what Jesus has to say through the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. Side: True
