Christians should not judge others

It's Matt 7:11

So they should not juge homosexuals, people sleeping together before marriage, atheists, people of the Serer religion or gothlolis.

Atheists, however can judge whoever they like.

Actually Christians are supposed to judge because Paul said that we are suppose to test the spirits and also to test people on what they say. But if we judge someone who is doing the same sin as you are doing then you shouldn't judge them. Also when we tell people what they are doing is wrong, a lot of the time people are defensive and say that we shouldn't be judging but we aren't really judging, we are only restating what God said in His word and it's not judging if you are quoting what someone has said.

Judge not according to appearance but judge with righteous judgement accroding to John 7:24 and that means to judge with the intent to heal not to hurt.

Matthew 7:1-5

7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Did you not read what I said? We can judge but if we see someone who is doing the same sin and yet we judge we need to look at our own faults first before we judge. Thats what Matthew 7:3-5 is saying and which you quoted.

What do you mean by judging? Judging has many different contextual and definitional components to it.

Saying poo on you for not being good enough for example. I get that all the time.

John 7:24 says to judge not according to appearance but judge with righteous judgement. Before ye get mad, im sharing your sentiment. Its a time a place thing. Its not if you judge but when and how. If you (Im addressing Christians here), claim to be about love and follow Christ, be Christilike and show that love or please shut up. Im so tired of religicrite Chrstians who claim to love Christ but act like the most cruel devil you can find. I was bullied until I wanted to die by Christians. I had a Chrstian say that maybe God allowed me to be molested, raped, and disabled because their might be sin in my life. You (the person making me mad, not you) are damn right I have sin, but saying that ish is messed up and cruel. I kept the Jesus and dropped the label. Jesus is my God, not some crap religious label that gets abused by every religicrite that comes along. People judging me (and others) for having liberal and libertarian beliefs, being progay, probi, prochoice, believing that life begins at birth, feminist (to a point), not an asshole to nonchristians is just wrong. The whole point of being a Christian is to share the love of Christ with any willing being, not to be an asshole have hurt people. Chrstians creat more atheists than atheists because atheists just get tired of Chrstian crap. I dont feel safe around Chrstians, or that I can be myself, or share my hurts, or lean on a Christian for healing and emotional support. I alway feel like I have to hide part of me, and that is not healthy. Thanks for listening.

John 8:7 And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Nobody is without sin, so it is not in the power of Christianity to judge. Now if you are as flawless as atheists are, judge others.

It's not a matter of being flawless, it's a matter of not agreeing to follow Jesus's guidelines.

The Bible is a book written by man for man. It is inspired only in the context that it is written about God/Jesus. It is not Christ that has judged any one, but man. Have you personally heard Jesus or God tell you to do, act, etc. If so, please have yourself checked into some place with heavily padded walls.
