Who needs charity?

"Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm."

"Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also."

"Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."

"Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace."

"Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice."

"In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another."

Mathew 21:12

Then Jesus went into the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves. 13And He declared to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”…

Gee, I guess Jesus was not just about being nice to everyone.

If Jesus is ok with getting angry at money changers, I wonder what he would say to those supporting No Restriction abortions?

It takes honesty, integrity, and some semblance of intelligence to understand God's word and discern it's meaning. The Left loves to take things out of context when it fits their narrative.

Yes Christians are suppose to love everyone, but this does not mean we stay quiet when barbaric selfish people support inhuman things.

Yet even if you know everything, have perfect knowledge, can speak every type of language, and can move mountains with your faith... without charity, it profits nothing.

oooo is Matthew fair game?

Matthew 7:12

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

John 13:34-35

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

That's the difference between you and I. I agree with the verses you mentioned.

The Left picks and chooses which verses to believe.

I don't know if they are fake, so much as misguided. Perhaps there are some who want to use Christianity as a status, I'm not sure why though. More, I think they believe they are Christians who are one some form of crusade as a feeling of self-importance, and in doing this they cherry-pick what they want and go down a path they aren't meant to.

Those people in particular, once made aware of the truth of the matter will turn away from their wickedness and embrace righteousness.

Lest on the last day they say, "Lord, Lord, did I not crusade against the unbelievers, mocking them and pointing out the error of their ways in your name?"

And The Lord responds, "Depart from me, I never knew you oh worker of iniquity!"

One can hope. Some are so dang stubborn it really would take a miracle for them to see they are choosing a bad path.

Jesus was a Jewish preacher and, biblically, he son of God. Christians are people who follow what Jesus taught, namely compassion, repentance, baptism, and family among other things.

Now, you're probably going to show me examples of self-proclaimed Christians who don't seem to follow His teachings.

Go out among the streets of any major city in the US. Who are the ones that go out of their way to feed the homeless and do good to those who are afflicted?

People who work in the name of Christ.

Maybe you don't really know any Christians.

But even then, you can always find fault in man. What fault is there in The Truth? If you find fault with The Truth, the fault is all your own.

Christians are just humans.

Humans have flaws.

Whether or not Christianity is true or false, some Christians will be "better" than others. But from what I know the only requirement to being a christian is simply believing Jesus died for your sins.

It is easy to call Jesus savior, but it takes a bit more to call Jesus Lord.
