I want the government out of my bedroom but I would also like free contraceptives. What do I do?

I would like them out of my bathrooms, actually. The "liberal" position on gender inclusive restrooms is actually a push back against the government being there in the first place.

I don't think we need laws to govern who goes in what bathrooms. It's wasteful, unenforceable, and unnecessary.

The point is FREEDOM! That thing you conservatives rail about EVERY DAY! Only it's YOUR type of "freedom" you care about ..... ONLY!

It's time to realize that there are TWO sides to a democracy and we don't settle it on the internet! Conservatives want their explicit freedoms, fuck the other half of the country! A democracy is a democracy and everyone gets a chance to argue for what they want.

Here, I expect to hear that: "WE are a REPUBLIC! Crap. Well, so is the Peoples REPUBLICS of N. Korea, Cuba, Iran and Iraq, the USSR (was). The (Apartheid) REPUBLIC of S. Africa,(was) etc.

Republics have not had a very good record without the "democracy" side integrated into it!

The liberal stance against a federal/state/local gov't requiring people to visit bathrooms of their birth sex is one against regulation, not for it. That said, the liberal stance would also include passing protections that would bar businesses from disallowing access to bathrooms because of sex/gender.

No YOU want the government involved in our bathrooms! Theres no laws against who can use what bathroom so all trans people are saying is to let them use the one they choose to use. YOU are the ones who refuse to allow that to the point where you want to pass legislation BANNING that. YOU are the anti-freedom asshole here. YOU are the one who cares so fucking much about where someone goes pee pee and poo poo and what two men or women do in their bedrooms. YOU care so badly that you want to prevent it where the rest of us dont give a flying fuck what those people wanna do! We believe they should be free to do what they want as long as theyre not doing any harm.
