Communism as well as Capitalism are both perfect systems created with perfect humans in mind. But that is their issue. They require people be perfect. To be absent of evil and the temptations to behave with evil. This is what makes both systems fatally flawed, but otherwise perfect. With that said, I think communism is good. I think idealistic realism is good. Communism lacks a quality of realism in a very important area, but otherwise is a very valiant goal to work towards. It's good because it's something to look up to and hope for. Because the hope for communism to work is the same as the hope for humanity to cease being evil. 1

I would disagree. I wouldn't compare Communism against Capitalism, even though that's we're many argue to. Instead, I believe Communism is a type of government, not an economic or political belief. Communism is the belief that everything must be shared equally, which can be good. However, as previously stated by another, people need to perfect and agree with everything for it to work. People, however, are not. Many believe that earning something, only for it to be given to someone else, is wrong. You reap what you sow, not someone else reaps what you sow. Communism is also usually enforced by the barrel of a gun. As I like to say, a communist is a socialist with a gun. Socialism and communism have the same goal, just different ways of getting there. When our founding fathers formed our country, they didn't want a socialist system. Even though socialism and communism wasn't given a name until the turn of the century, it was still a real thing in the 1700's. Towards the end of the Greek and Roman empires, the people and country reverted to socialism and communism. Looked what happened to them! They were once great empires overthrown by their own need for a perfect society, or socialism. People grew lazy and dependent on the government for sustenance. Sound familiar? It happened in Russia, China, N.Korea, and the inklings of it are happening in the United States. Our country was founded on the liberty of the individual, not the group as a whole. That's why we have GOD given rights, not privileges given by the government. I, for one, would die fighting for my liberties. Communism can't offer that to me. They will only take it away. 1
