When I say corporation, I mean large corporations like the banks, and investment firms. I'm not talking about the ole' Maw and Paw bakery down the street. Wink

Except Corporations can't force you to do anything you don't want to, no matter how big they are. All they can do is offer you a product or service which you can choose to accept or decline.

The government on the other hand...

Let's take a look at Wal-Mart. Yes, the do provide crap that we do not need at slightly more affordable prices, but at the same time, they abuse their workers. They also contribute to human rights abuses in China by supporting sweat shops and labor camps. This is but one example of how a corporation does more harm than good.

Take away Corporate-person hood and this could change.

They live by the name of profit, that's it. History has shown they've done more harm.

So what if one person is good at carrying things, another is good at cooking, and another is good at resource gathering? What's wrong with them teaming up and turning a profit by providing people with a product they want?

Way more people work for corporations than own small businesses. Overall corporations help most of the population maybe there are some unlucky few but they are the few, the majority is what counts.

Corporations steam roll over workers and small business owners

"If you give legislators power over what is bought and sold, don't be surprised when legislators themselves are bought and sold."

Half the reason small businesses are failing is because they're so over regulated they can't compete. Who do you think lobbies for these regulations?

No, they provide millions of jobs around the world. Many of them are good to their employees and pay very well. It just depends in the company.

Corporations cost more jobs than they create, as well as lives, right now corporations that make military weapons and ones in the oil industry are pushing our politicians to get us involved in the war in Syria for their own profit.

There are hundreds of people without a job out there. Take away the corporations and the number will be tripled. They actually facilitate our needs or desires as well as maintain a slight control of econony, becauase they do give jobs to millions of people so that they don't starve.

The only way the workers will ever have a better quality of life is if they control the means of production. This makes corporations un-necessary.
