Democrats say we can't break up illegal immigrant families. But it's ok to break up ours.

Why do we feel for the families broken up for immigration policies, tending to act more on these feelings more than say someone who broke a different law and as a result has their family broken up? Simply put, illegal immigrants tend to be the victims rather than some terrible perpetrator. I'm sure their cause is something we can all sympathize with, to build a better life for them and their family. Since you make no distinction between the different kinds of illegal immigrants, I would like to ask you something. If an illegal immigrant serves in the military, is it then right to kick him/her out of the country after he/she fulfilled their service? 2

The notion that illegal immigrants are generally, if not always, the victim in the situation is inherently flawed. Our country has a system for legal immigration, and those who disregard it in favor of illegal immigration are cheating both our law and all those who come here lawfully. Just because people want a better life doesn't mean they can disregard law to acquire it. 1

So you admit that they are coming over here for a better life? And if so, is that not an illustration of a victim to you? Someone who attempts to escape a more grave reality for a better one but is punished for doing so? Although I can understand why we have immigration laws. Let me ask you, do you really believe that illegal immigration is becoming more and more prevalent as guys like Trump portray? If so, where do you get this information? As all the studies I have seen show that illegal immigration has been in decline since the 2008 stock market crash. 1

I want the same law applied to them as legal Americans who break the law and then go into the service. If a theif is caught after joining the military, he would be brought to justice the same as any criminal. The only reason illegl immigrants get special treatment is because Democrats want their future votes. 1

There's a difference between arresting someone and kicking them out of the country. Yes, if a soldier/ex-soldier commits a crime they should be sent to prison. And yes, if a immigrant soldier/ex-soldier commits a crime they should be sent to prison. You act like we want to give immigrants legal immunity or something. If you are a natural born Caucasian American, you are the descendant of illegal immigrants who pillaged, tortured and massacred the natives of the land, then they brought in blacks by even worse means and treated them like they were beneath insects. You then sit there and cry when Latinos play the game less effectively and less brutal in manner and expect sympathy and understanding. Stop whining and start accepting what a hypocrite you are. |
