Jesus was a fictional character. Can't we make him do anything we want? Not only did Jesus convert to Islam, but he also went through a stage where he preached only to dogs. He now plays in a 5-piece jazz band outside of Hoboken, Connecticut.

The Onion is highly amusing, yet no more factual a reference than Disney.

Side: What?

You are probably right that the Onion is no more factual than Disney, you could probably also say that it is no less factual than the Bible.

Okay, Joe... You really got hell for this one, didn't you?

Jesus was alive c.30 AD. Mohammed was alive c. 600 AD. No Islam before Mohammed. No Christianity before Jesus. Jesus came six hundred years earlier, so he could not have believed in Islam.

That doesn't make any sense. Islam wasn't started until several hundred years after Jesus was on Earth. I'm disappointed.........really

The answer to this question is tough to answer not because he did not convert at all, but because Islam teachings are in line with what Jesus taught his people. Jesus submitted to god which is seen in Islam as one of the causes/ or evidence disproving his deity or for criticizing trinity. “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Luke 22:42. Jesus himself is quoted as saying that he does nothing of his own initiative, that he did not come to do his own will, that he was sent and not a sender, and that what he taught was not his. See John 6:38, John 7:16, John 8:42

Islam means total submission to god, the creator and sustainer of the universe.

Even Moses submitted to god as Abraham did, which is the same principle breached by Islam.

Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” And the LORD said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.” Exodus 33:15-17

Mother Mary verse in Quran (Surat Maryam) says:

88 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) (as the Jews say: Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son (Iesa (Christ) ), and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.))."

89 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing.

90 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,

91 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah).

92 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children).

93 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave.

94 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting.

95 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender).

96 Verily, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)) and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers).

97 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqoon (pious and righteous persons - See V.2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people.

98 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you (O Muhammad SAW) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them?

Easy to answer

No Jesus did not convert

but if I tell you he was born a muslim you;ll respond islam did not exist at the time of jesus

but then if i tell you Jesus had submitted himself to the creator or god or master or the father of existence..... you'll most likely recognize that then first answer

well if you translate word muslim in english with a definition....

it means to submit to the law or commendment of the creator or GOD or the father of existance.

therefore Jesus was a muslim from the start because jesus prayed as muslims

did... u can c bible (matthew 26:39) i have more bible verses of jesus praying upon request

maybe the word islam did not exist at the time of jesus but the religion of submitting to the 1 GOD(which means islam in arabic) Definately existed without any doubt or question.

Side: What?

I believe you. Jesus was a Muslim and then when he wanted to convert to Christianity, he got nailed for it ;)

What? He didn't convert or any such nonsense...

He came in this world as a prophet of Allah to begin with (whether you'd like to believe it or not).

P. S. Hilarious article, though, yep, really pathetic
