Did our soldiers DIE protecting the flag, or our civil liberties?

Flags mean nothing in and of themselves. USA, France, Nazi, Confederate, etc, a flag is only as good as the civilization it represents.

Hey, when ISIS soldiers rap themselves in the ISIS flag before blowing themselves and others up do you respect them for that?

This whole hysteria over you must stand and put your hand over your heart during the national anthem is patently un-American. There is a dramatic difference between not participating because you're negligent or being a punk and not participating because you're upset at a civil rights issue.

Yes, a rich black millionaire who throws a ball for a living, who was raised by well off white folks must be rough. If that's what oppression looks like, sign me up. Of course this didn't manifest until Kaepernick started dating... a Muslim gal, Nessa Diab. It's probably just a coincidence... The Quran says to pay allegience to infidel nations... or so Libs seem to think. Let me go look to make sure.

Well crap, it says to destroy our nations, take them over and kill us all. My mistake.

Defending your response is going to be where you fail.

Scenario - You take your response for putting your hand over your heart as patently un-American to a VFW Hall and then you defend your words.

Do you have the testicular means to prove your point in an environment that will be hostile. This is just the net can you put your money where your mouth is and back it up in a real life situation.

BOTH! One isn't worth a damn without the other. They're BOTH important.

Hello:

Here's the oath I took when I joined the Navy:

"I, (excon), do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

Ain't nothing about a flag in there.. The Constitution is mentioned, though.

We will assume you might have joined the Navy but was the American Flag flown on your naval vessel or was it the Constitutional Flag. Are you the resident lunatic on this site.

Side: A PIECE OF CLOTH

Well that "piece of cloth" represents our civil liberties. Maybe you learned about it in the military? No huh?

Well that "piece of cloth" represents our civil liberties.

Oh shut up you idiotic Nazi twit. How is it even possible, that after 10,000 years of people using flags, emblems and religious symbols to brainwash the masses, that you haven't learned your lesson yet?

Hello A:

You mean our soldiers died for MORE reasons than I spelled out? What might those be?

A huge load of other reasons but no thats not what I am saying. I am saying which arms conflict are you talking about? Each has its own set of objectives.
