If the whole world was full of Conservatives, I think you would praise the act right Con? And of course Conservatives aren't as bad as the people in the story or even close.

Now you will have to discern what this verse means-

It depends on what everybody was doing. Atheists always say the same thing about the Canaanites, but the Canaanites were cannibals that literally sacrificed their babies and children to the devil by cooking them alive on a hot plate like a steak. Of course, if God hadn't stopped them, then that would be the Atheist argument. Why didn't God stop them?

The Noah story is also an allegory for the end of the world.

it's not allegory.. Christ and his apostles used it in the historical sense.. That story is not a parable of Jesus..

.

"This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Savior: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."(2 Peter 3:1-7)

.

Sound like allegory to you? It's not allegory.. The New Testament was written to Christians.. None of which will you ever hear say it's allegory.. Peter in those verses just told you it is not allegory.. "For this they willingly are ignorant of" .. What were they willing ignorant of? The FACT that the earth had been in great deluge in time past and perished and in like manner they deny and do not believe that this same world will also perish again, but in fire ..

.

One cannot be "willingly ignorant" of an allegory.. one is "willingly ignorant" of the truth! They don't want to accept and believe it.. It's called "denial"...

Your question is nonsensical, being that God is the creator, he gives life, therefore has right to his creation and right to take what he gives..You and I do not give life, thus we have no right to take it..Ever heard of "Intellectual Property Rights"? (lol.. You know that was a joke, right?)..

.

Plus, he created Man and gave him laws.. He told Man right up front that he would die if he broke said Laws.. Do states and the US execute those who break certain laws?

.

So.. "What's good about that?" It means that we live in a moral and just universe governed by objective moral laws as well as physical laws(i.e.Physics-Thermodynamics)where wrong will be made right, where the criminal lawbreakers will be judged and pay for their crimes.. Justice... It will be served! If you were killed tonight in bed by a burglar and the cops never get him, would you or would you not still want justice to be served on him for what he did to you, for taking your life, or would you prefer that he just got off scot-free?

I thought the christian god was all loving, no ?!

Let me get this straight, so your all loving, all powerful, perfect god create a world and gave the people some rules to follow, but when some of them break the rules he is ready to take their life and send them to suffer in hell for an eternity ?

First if he is all knowing it means he knew before hand that some of the creatures he created will not follow the rules he set (a mistake from his part since he is the one who created us), so what is the use of this punishment if he can already tell who is gonna break the rules even before we re born, he might as well just send me directly to hell and save me a couple of years here on earth, which doesn't sound like a GOOD thing for me.

Second and most importantly how could he not fucking forgive them ? why did he have to drawn them ? I mean you, who is a mere mortal, will forgive your children even if they break some of the rules you set for them. But the all mighty god full of love and forgiveness can't forgive your innocent new born baby because his grand grand grand..... father ate a shiny red apple ?
