Dirk is the better all-round player. He has great offensive stats (despite being 6 years older) and better in most areas. He is loyal, having played for the Mavericks for the entirety of his career. LeBron left Cleveland to get a ring. Not only that, but he was extremely arrogant and cocky throwing a huge party to declare how he would win the next 8 championships. Dirk doesn't do that. He dedicates his life to the Mavs and led them to victory last year. LeBron made fun of Dirk for being sick. He is a pathetic, arrogant person who doesn't deserve to be where he is today. Just the 2011 Playoffs
Side: Dirk
To an extent. But in the video I posted, the last NINE points of their 15 point comeback were all Dirk. The game winning show: Dirk. They showed how he had practiced that move hundreds of time. Defender, spin move left, fade-away jumper. When it gets down to the final quarter and the pressure is on the stats look like this: Points Dirk: 44 LeBron: 9 - FG Dirk: 12-24 LeBron: 3-12 - FT Dirk: 18-18 LeBron: 3-3 Rebounds Dirk: 14 LeBron: 7 Side: Dirk
We compare two admirable players , not teams Then it is unfair to compare PPG stats. The Miami heat isn't a team. It is Wade, LeBron, and Bosh, and then a bunch of people to fill the rest of the spots. If you watch basketball a lot, you will clearly see that Dirk isn't greedy. LeBron is. The fact that he has a high PPG is evident of that. Kobe is the same way. NOw if you look at the Allen, Rondo, Garnett trio, they work quite well together IMO. Side: Dirk
You can't say dirk is a better all around player and then not say how? Regardless, that is not true. Lebron is a play maker. He can make easy baskets come. Hes unselfish, makin sure everyone gets in the game even at the level he plays at. He's getting better on the low post. He gets rebounds. And let's not forget how easily he can take the ball to the hole and pull up for jumpers. Lebron can be put anywhere on the court and have success. Not to take anything away from dirk though, he is a great shooter. He can play other areas well, too but you'll never see him as a ball handler. Look, it comes down to who is the better all around player, not who's better at ONE aspect of the game. And that is Lebron. For the majority of this 2012 season, he has averaged the most points on the team, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. Side: LeBron

He has though look at The Minnesota Timberwolves game in 2018 or look at Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. Also Don't forget he leads the NBA in fourth quarter points and he is considered one of the most Clutches in the 2018 season. He also has the most points averaged in the final 4 minutes of a game. I vote for LeBron James. Why? So now, I will prove my view point. After that, I will glad if you support and approve me. First of all, LeBron James is younger on 6 years than Dirk Nowitzki. Also Mr. James is going to catch up Dirk for Career Points, because LeBron score more balls per game. LeBron James has been awarded more times, although they are both very valuable players of NBA. Despite of this fact LeBron has won MVP in 2009, in 2010. He has made All-Star team in every season except his rookie season. He has become youngest player in NBA history, when he has scored 40 points in a game, 1,000 career points, and 10,000 career points. Despite of fact that Dirk Nowitzki has won MVP in 2011, he is old and so he will end his career faster than LeBron. Nevertheless LeBron is a leader, not just a leader, but a leader which support team spirit, and soul of the company. Do you know? LeBron James has repeated feat of MICHAEL JORDAN, he has done triple-double. He is the second man who could it after Mr. Jordan. This is awesome. I think that’s enough on today. Side: LEBRON

I also support this argument but, why is this a questions? It's comapring Lebron James "The King" to Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, or any other Legends but let me break it down for you. Lebron James 3 championships 15 seasons 12 playoffs played 14 all-star games Dirk Nowitzki 1 championship 20 seasons 15 playoffs played 13 all-star games But keep in mind LeBron James is only getting better by age. Dirk on the other hand is not.
