Trump is doing a good job, new poll shows Trump’s approval ratings are now at 50 percent, according to a recent poll (Picture: AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin) The way I heard it, people around Pittsburg are around 50% where the steel mills are hoping for jobs. Within the conservative party he's around there and being supported by an upper 30% in the country, but only 16% of the country thinks he's doing a great job. Hopefully, the people will realize that, when we had a LOT of steel jobs, it took 300 people (or more) to het the job done. Now about 30 can do as much. A few guys in an air conditioned tower can control the whole operation. His tax break for the rich will improve those numbers ... for THEM ... with more robotics and AI! I like his policies (the last I heard of them) on people having to prove they need to be on disability and absolutely can't work and I have hope he'll do well with N.K- so far so good. Good job? Ehh..... I think he's getting there but there's still room to improve....but he's doing better. Until his next whiney tweet comes out. Yes , tweets aside I think he’s doing ok , in fairness it’s all pretty new to him and I think he’s eventually growing into the job and not making a bad shakes of it I’ve never gotten the American way where the president of the U S is rabidly attacked every time by the opposition , do Americans ever totally unite in their support of a president? 1

What's funny is half the things he does are things liberals support, and he's the first U.S. Republican President to not even sniff at gay marriage's legality. Libs are yapping at him on things they happily would support if he simply had one more quality...being a Democrat. As is the left's Orwellian tradition, they have accused him of being a liberal, then a racist, war mongering, white supremacist Nazi. Um...yeah... So that's how that works... I’m sick and tired of hearing the almost daily rabid attacks on Trump I think he’s being accused of virtually every possible crime at this stage ; it seems to me he’s doing pretty well at the moment and if he sorts out the North Korea situation that’s something no one else has come close to resolving No. Never. The problem is a good portion of Americans are either Left or Right, it's like a sports team to them, it doesn't matter if your team is good or bad you'll still support your President because it (he) is your side (team). Thankfully more and more are becoming independent but even for those of us who already are sometimes it can be disconcerting when a President character is so wholly wrong for the job that it's hard to trust him. We need to give him props when he does right though and while I still think there is a long way to go I haven't lost all hope for him. I do hope he does well and continues doing better, mainly because I don't want the plane this country is on to crash and burn. |
