I'm sure you know this but: no amount of peanut is safe. Some people are so severely allergic to peanuts that being near them or breathing air that contains peanut residue can cause an allergic reaction I knew people would post about their freedoms being taken away and make ridiculous comparisons and that's fine; I just don't need peanuts on a plane badly enough to potentially harm others. they should ban peanuts from airplanes because there are people that are highly allergic and if there is a passenger that is on that plane that is traveling a long distance over seas and he/she doesn't have there medication to stop the allergic reaction you cant land and the person is just sitting there having a allergic reaction so unless you want someone sitting next to you maybe going on a important trip and while they are at the bathroom you ask the flight attendant for some peanuts the next thing you no they come back you breathe on them they inhale the toxins and you cause them to have a allergic reaction that is why peanuts should be banned from airplanes. its their fault (person allergic to peanuts) for not bringing medication. Why should others have to deal with an inconvenience just because one person came unprepared? Besides, if you're allergic to peanuts, you can just ask the person politely to not eat the peanuts. Side: No

Why can't people decide to take some responsibility for their lives, their taste or their allergies? They might think it better to complain to the airline and put a bit of pressure on them to have a better assortment of 'snacks' for them to eat or, safer still, bring their own along with them for the flight. Liberties and freedom should not be taken away from the masses for a few, if one is allergic to peanuts they should be vigilant as to watch for them. I am allergic to gunshot wounds therefore I try to stay away from flying lead. You're allergic to gunshot wounds and guns aren't allowed on a plane, yet you don't want to extend the same protection to those allergic to peanuts...typical hypocrite. Side: yes

And some people are allergic to the sun so should we destroy it? Some of you people are more dangerous to freedom than you know. Side: No
people should know enough to make sure they don't kill themselves by eating a fistful of peanuts. they can be more responsible and not expect others to not have fun (or eat some peanuts). although airplanes can take precautions if there are some people who did forget the rules of their lives and almost killed themselves but overall no they shouldn't ban peanuts on airplanes. they are some of my favorites on the plane. Just because some people are allergic to peanuts doesn't give them the right to prevent people who aren't allergic to them to be able to consume peanuts. This world has invented peanut allergy patches for the sole purpose of preventing any danger from peanuts, so those who are allergic to peanuts should use those. Side: No
