Unless I am misunderstanding you, this question is in reference to the social networking functionality I hope to have built in to the application. What I envision is that at the time of content curation, the user has an option to share the activity on their preferred social network (like ya know createdebate, twitter, facebook). I don't think this will require that Metadata be "exposed" but rather (optionally) transmitted along with a post to a social networking site. Whether or not possible future releases may include some kind of built in search functionality has yet to be determined, but it is not planned for version 1.0

Really I just want to use the Zotero firefox plug-in as a staring point for creating the Free Press Bible plug-in. The way I want it to work is that when a user finds an article while web browsing they can actually add the article to their collection. (not just make a reference like Zotero does) The plug in runs a script that (by accessing other components of the FPB software bundle) converts the article to an open format and stores it either as a standalone file, or incorporates it into a "section" of the "canon.odt" super-document.
