I totally deisagree with you.

Firstly, you say that computer games have bad impact on child's behavior and give only one example Cs(Counter-Strike), what about other games. For instance, in chess pieces are used to attack and capture the opponent's pieces. Does it mean that chees have bad impact on child's behavior??? :) What about children who do not play Cs.

Secondly, you said: "when child plays it, he will learn killing people, how to kill person with knife...". So, if he play Tower blocks, he will learn how to build city or if he play Sims, he will learn how to live this life... Do you really think so??? It is funny!! :-)

Supporting Evidence: Tower blocks (www.wixgame.com)

Yeah you are right, but what about especially ones with violent content and which are sexual? Because of this you must know which game to play. But generally in computer clubs many children are playing CS. Scientists proved that their behaviors are changing, they are getting more aggressive and cruel. You about chess or something else, but what will you say about my opinion?

Is there any research(es) that was done regarding the given issue ?

Side: yes

In others words, is violence bad for children? Yes because there is a study that later on in life, children tend to be more aggressive. Now there is nothing wrong with being aggressive but when it comes to hurting somebody else, it is wrong.

Is sexual exposure bad for children? Of course. i was exposed to sex as a young child and i am somewhat addicted to porn. It is hard to ignore it. It is like a disease. Im not saying i am one of those people on Dr. Phil but being addicted to sex do ruin lives.

This all depends on child to child. But sexual exposure is NORMALLY unhealthy for children. Violence exposure is NORMALLY unhealthy for children.

Nowadays there are many children who plays online games and not only online, and this games have got bad influence to them they start to be aggressive and even can do bad things. As our cartoons games can change humans behavior. I've got a brother and he plays game which called "Dota" and he changed. Sometimes he say things like in this game. And he say that this game is interesting, but i cant find something which can be interesting in this game. He can scream to his mother. Even beat his little brother.

Yeah. They do, I got mad when I was younger when I couldn't beat someone.

Yes it does. My youngest brother he goes on the Roblox everyday and he is only 4 yrs old and if i try to look up something he starts to cry and whine that he wants to play it because he is constantly on the computer. Even when I go on the computer to check my library account or youtube he still bothers me.

Of course, teens who play violent video games for extended periods of time: Tend to be more aggressive, may engage in fights with their peers, Are more prone to argue with their teachers.Computer games have a negative impact on the development of children, especially contributing to aggressive and anti-social behavior. Playing computer games has a greater negative effect because it involves interactivity which impacts on learning processes of the child. As everybody know, games can be addicting. When you give them a virtual world and unleash that imagination, it can take over their minds. Games may cause some kids to act out violently or have nightmares.

As you know, children often learn from what they see. And if children play games that contain graphic violence, including killing people, it is possible to become desensitized to the reality of death. For example, i read about child, who was addicted by computer games and one day when he came at school he tried to kill his classmate.

Parents need to look after their child's behavior.

yes, some games are so violent that it affects child's psychology. They start imagining world as computer game and try to copy the actions from it.

How you can say addictive are you, or not? Many people play online games for example, and they are addictive because they play them and cant stop, of caurse you'll say "I am not addictive" because people can't imagine that they are addictive, they cant believe in this.

My name is Aidana Rysmendiyeva, I'm from Kazakhstan. I also want to add thet computer games have a very bad impact on child's behavior. Today I was watching the new on the 1st channel, and there was one theme that was very interesting to listen to. The topis is computer games. All of the facts that that there were discussed are very strong, and now I consider that computer games are bad. Firstly, many Western computer organizations that produce games for computer are very, very popular not only in Russia and Kazakhstan, they are popular all over the world. But the problem is that many computer games that our children often play are not for children. They have age restriction because there are different pictures that contain information not for children, there are a lot of substandard lexicon that afeect on children very bad. We have a problem that even there is an age restriction, children can buy it easily. Modern computer games have a lot of violence. It has very bad influence, because children not always understand that there is another virtual world, and they start to behave themselves like in the game. It is bad.

No, I disagree with you, I think everything depends on people. There many people who plays counter strike, but it doesn't effect on their behavior.

By judging your sentence, children must not watch movies where there is violence scenes, where people kill another people.

I disagree with this statement because it'snot usually that way. I'm a gamer by myself and I don't find myself as I'm addicted and I can't live without it. Moreover, it hasn't had a bad impact on my life at all. When I was a child, my mother would always give me tme to play computer games. But I would play only if I did my homework or cleaned the house, all in all if I deserved it. Maybe that's why I never had a strong feeling of addiction. By the time I grew up I understood by myself that playing computer games is good when everything else is done and it's just a virtual world and there is no point to connect virtuality and reality, those are two different things. Now I play World of Warcraft, it's addicting and I know a lot of people who are really obsessed with it, but I think that the main point is for parents to make everything so that child realized that it's good good in small portions and in separate time :)

Video games give your child's brain a real workout. In many video games, the skills required to win involve abstract and high level thinking. These skills are not even taught at school. Some of the mental skills trained by video games include:

o Following instructions

o Problem solving and logic

o Hand-eye coordination, fine motor and spatial skills.

I played Doom a lot growing up, (as did the Columbine shooters) but I was, and still am, as non-violent a person as you'll ever meet. I even avoid killing spiders unless they are right in my face

Side: No

Parents should monitor the computer games and tell their children that what they see is only fantasy.
