Do fairy tales give kids a good idea of right and wrong, or just teach them lies?

Fairy tales give children a good foothold on the concept of morality and the differences between moral rights and wrongs. Because of their age, children can't help believing them to be true. At least most kids realize them to be just stories later in life.

I think most people learn when they get about my age (15-18) that fairy tales don't come true. But, when they're a child, you want children to have an imagination. I know I'm a very creative person and I believe it's because I watched Molly and the Big Comfy Couch, and my grandma read me poetry, and my dad gave me a dream catcher. I think fairy tales are as equally important in a person's life as food or water.

Fairy Tales are great guides for a child on what is right and what is wrong.
