Of course they do! Obviously anything that helps poor kids get an educations or broke mothers get checked for breast cancer is socialism, And anything that that ensures trillion dollar oil companies keep getting their exclusive and ungodly-expensive subsidies is good-ol'-american capitalism! (That's sarcasm. Yeah, most Americans are idiots) 1

The cause of ignorance in economic theories is the lack of philosophy. In the US, students are pumped full of possibly useless material, and yet receive little to no knowledge about philosophical concepts. It is when individuals are aware of their individual philosophies that economics become important. As it is now, for the most part children just blindly adopt their parents views or adopt whimsical positions lacking convincing justification. |
