Do right wingers know the difference between a liberal and a communist?

The average right winger does not know the first thing about basic political science terminology. They do not know the difference between party and ideology, they do not know how to distinguish the key characteristics of common ideologies, they do not understand how our system works nor what is contained in our founding documents (save for the 2nd amendment). Apparently, they favor the communists, so they MUST realize a difference. Makes no difference, though, they'll go where the boss tells them, and we KNOW who he favors. Vlad the Impaler! Must feel GOOD to him! Hmmm, on second thought, the look on his face when he came out of the Helsinki woodshed(?) … well, Vlad enjoyed it! 1

Apparently, they favor the communists, so they MUST realize a difference. Russia is no longer communist. In fact, it never was. The USSR started as a socialist republic, the communist party being in control does not make it "communist" because communism was the ultimate goal of the communist party, and according to Marx various stages of socialism are necessary to gradually usher in true communism before it fits the definition of communism. The USSR was literally in the FIRST STAGE of Marxist socialism during Lenin's time. After Stalin took over it started to degrade into a bureaucratic mess. When the USSR was dissolved in 1991, Russia adopted a privatized economy. |
