no because the sport industry is completely different to every other industry and u might not think so but it is very hard work. people have put years of training into this and it should be appreciated the same as any other industry like television or computing softwares. if you think its so easy to get to the top then why dont you be the best and earn that much money and do it urself if u think its easy. besides, only the best of the best earn the big amounts of money

Side: Subhan146

no because in sports you have to be strong and fast you can breake a leg plaing spots so yes also they have hundreds of people to come see them play 1 game

nope, sport is like art, one takes it all and it's hard to reach the top, plus they generate revenues for a lot sport-related industries ... some of them do also charity (Roger Federer for instance built many schools in Africa with his own pocket money)

No, because that money doesn't magically appear out of thin air. It is generated by ticket sales and such. Demand for the sport influences salary. If it were too much the team or league would go bankrupt. Indeed at some point if as a whole the salaries become unsustainable then no doubt they would start to be slashed.

Yes, I think they do because even though they work very hard, they shouldn't get paid that much. Sure, pay them a lot because they deserve it, but not too much. I mean some people are getting paid 1. Something million dollars and that's just way too much money.

Side: millis21
1 point

no, sports do not cost that much it is just that they dont need the money for you to practice they need the money for the uniforms

Side: millis21

I see both sides but yes I think it pays too much. Sure the money generated is astronomical but it could be applied to schools and public assistance programs.

Side: millis21

yes, some of the top athletes make more money than someone working his entire life the average monthly salary of an american is almost $4000. for example less popular nba star makes four thousand times as much.
