Not really. I don't have a facebook and I am doing just fine. Other people who have facebook are so addicted that they have to go on every single day. I don't want to be one of them and I will never get a facebook account.

The main purpose of facebook is to 'talk' to other people, which is something that you can do in person. Personally, I think facebook is getting a little overrated. Also, I don't really get the point of talking online to someone if you can easily talk to them in person.

I think that some people spend too much time on facebook; it's okay with me if you go on facebook to send messages and stuff to far-off friends and family, but not exactly for everyday use.

We (the other guys that wrote arguments for this debate) are proof that facebook is completely unnecessary (go us!).

i dont think we NEED Facebook, but it is however very useful to have one. In todays soceity people comunicate over mobile phones and the internet, so i do think it is a useful tool.

I honestly think that Facebook is a waste of time . Because while your sitting there , looking at a computer screen , your life is litterly passing you by . I am on Facebook probaly only 30 mins a day . The rest , I am practicing my dancing .

Facebook has a bunch of troublemakers on it. Some people humiliate other members or even make threats toward other members.
