Do you agree that singers nowadays should sing about drugs, sex and thugs?
I know most people would say that it appeals to the crowd but is it really a help to the population nowadays?

I think they should sing about either of the following: Relevant criteria - much like the music about the Vietnam War, I think there should be songs relevant to what is happening in today's society. The Migrant Crisis, war in Iraq etc. Life-changing events in the singer's life - Songs that people can relate to. Say the singer broke up with their girl, how did he deal with it? Maybe they can teach people something based on his experience? - Anything not about having loads of money, their girlfriend's fat arse, their house, the amount of drugs they do etc. What do you think music should be about? |
