Yes, I think USA have to invest more dollars in their Space program because they can discover many interesting thing. They can understand better what planets are made and to compare them with Earth. But I also think the USA can't be only to invest in this field, all developed country must invest in these programs. Then astronomy is always enchanting;it is quite difficult but Universe can give you strong emotions. This is my point of view and i don't want to influence anybody.

Currently, no. We're in enough debt as it is. I personally think we should cut back in the space program at least until we actually are in a better state to support that kind of spending.

If we don't look to expand to other worlds we as a human race are all dead, extinct, a blip on the cosmic radar, I think the space program is the one of the most important programs we as a people should be focused on.

We as a people should understand this and work towards helping others understand the real problem here on earth, and its not big business, it's about our very existence.

Money, nationalism, religion won't mean shit if we have no home, funny that it so happens that those things are the reason for a lacking space program or lack of interest.

A human space program should be a goal the entire world should be working on and a goal all us humans should share, if the world can agree on this then money shouldn't be a issue because the space program would be free from currency and only cost us humans labor and time.

Quote from Spock "the needs of the many out weight the needs of the few"

Money, nationalism, religion won't mean shit if we have no home You shouldn't talk about money not meaning anything in a debate all about money, especially when you're on the side supporting the need for money (To spend on the space program).

You talk as if the earth is in danger. There aren't any threats known to us as of now, and there isn't a need to work towards this too quickly. "Slow and steady wins the race" If we spent all of our money on the space program we'd have even less to spare to help the people of the U.S. And once a high percentage of people are homeless and a even higher percent are uneducated, who would be able to research space, certainly not the millions living on the street? I know that the space program is important, but the present is always the most important issue. First the economy, then progress, since we can't really progress when we're not 'strong'. For example. Once a runner runs hard for a hour to the point that he's aching, should he invest MORE to run and 'strengthen' his muscles? No, he needs time to recover, or else he could tear right threw his muscles and never be able to run again. It's the same idea with this topic.

Spend the same but stop sending humans... it's WAY too complicated and expensive... let the robots figure this shit out first.

I agree with you. Let the robots risk their lives. And don't spend humans. I agree

Side: No

Take care of the problems here in America first. When all of our problems are solved, then spend money in the Space program.
