Do you believe that Dermot has a Masters degree and is a member of Mensa?
Here's a quote from one of Dermot's arguments: "Ok I've a masters degree and my wife has also I'd say we are pretty well educated I'm also a member of Mensa just so you know I'm not a dimwit and not making this up I just asked my wife whats a creationist , she said " they believe the earth is 6000 years old" my mom is here she is 80 highly educated and thought the same , now you can tell from your experience but I'm telling you straight from mine no one calls themselves a creationist here not that I've ever heard and in fact would be quiet upset to be called so ."
As you can tell, his grammar sucks but he also thinks that there aren't ANY creationists in Ireland... even though the majority of them are Catholic. As he stated, he's supposedly a member of Mensa, which means that his IQ is in the top two percent of the general population. Shouldn't his intelligence be well rounded enough that he'd know how to use proper grammar and understand what a creationist is?

People also probably had about 8 years of learning proper grammar back in school. So if we go by your reasoning then we can say that he has never went or dropped out in 1st grade, which I find to be less likely than not having a masters degree. Idk about Mensa, but I'm addressing the topic title. Side: Yes
Who cares if he has or not, I've met loads of highly intelligent people who's grammar and spelling are appalling but like I said who gives a shit what his education level is, on here its someone's debating skills that are important not their education and obviously not their spelling or grammar as there's a hell of a lot of people's spelling and grammar that is atrocious and you haven't picked them up on it. Actually, I pick on a lot of people's grammar. It's one of the first things you learn in school... and then you continue to learn it. The only excuse is if you are a very young child or have a learning disability. "Who cares" isn't an option. Either you think he he's as educated as he says or you don't. If you want to side with the guy who believes creationism doesn't exist in the Catholic country of Ireland, calls me a "bluffer" because he thinks that I'm pretending to be smart, attacks everyone else for their grammar even though his is far worse, and has suggested that members go kill themselves... then be my guest! Yes, I do believe he could have a masters and be a member of mensa. 1. Having lived in the UK, I understand that some universities automatically give you a masters after both the successful completion of your under graduate degree as well as a pre-determined amount of professional work (I am not sure if it is hours/months based). 2. You can take a test to get into Mensa. There are many practice tests. Go find one and try it yourself. If you "study" for it, I hear you can pass it fairly easily. But, why would you want to? I tried an online Mensa test once.. It was a sort of 12M on a D M C= 12 Men on a dead man's chest type thing. I got something like 24/30, not enough to get in :L Also, it kinda took me about an hour, when it's meant to be 20 mins.. As doe Dermot, it's easy to bullshit on the internet :P Side: No
