Do you make racist jokes?

Not "Have you EVER made one?" but do you make them from time to time, or even on a daily basis?

Yes. I like it when they pull their race card and then I pull mine out and we have a pissing match as to whose race card trumps whose. ;)

I go to an all-guys, catholic, mostly white school. I have made racist jokes in the past. I haven't made one in a while, but I make sure to make them for every race. And I also say them right in front of one of my friends who happens to be of that race. It makes it less mean, since they know I'm just kidding around. And then they continue by commenting on my German heritage and my Aryan race. Although my ancestors came to America before the world wars, I do have Aryan traits and I just take the jokes. Doesn't bother me.

I do the same thing, except I've gone to diverse schools. It seems to work-- there's no racial tension, and everyone understands everything's fair game. It definitely works a lot better than this PC shit.

Yes, babies love racial humor. ^_^

Also, I was adopted at birth, and by my looks, I could be one or many ethnic combinations, so I don't feel bad about making jokes about anyone, they could be "my people", who knows. I don't do it maliciously, either.

Growing up, I went to advanced classes at a special campus which was coincidentally a block or two from the local housing projects...so the school had regular classes for the kids in the area. So it was a really weird mix of people growing up (rural east texas,20k-ish population), with the smart kids (and the rich kids whose parents refused to believe their kids were dumb, so they paid to send them), the really poor (mostly minorities), and lots of rednecks in between.

Anyway: Laughter > Sensitivity

I sure do!

I embrace my Mexican heritage with an onslaught of racist jokes. I don't mind when people make them about me so I make them about them also. Only when they are present of course!

Where is the safest place to hide your wallet from a Mexican?

Under a bar of soap!

I have kind of layed off of them recently that is the first racist joke I've made in about 3 months =\

I think that we have grown up in a world that's so filled with racism that we unintentionally slip out a racist joke or two. I've never said or heard someone say one that intentionally or purposely said it to target a race. Most of mine are accidents, like someone will say something that will remind me of a racist joke i've previously heard, and i'll tell it to them because they reminded me of it. I'm not racist or anything, but i've slipped into the racist joke before.

I try very hard not to anymore. I grew up on it and now it makes me kind of sick inside when I hear one...especially when I know the person and know how prejudiced they truly are. I can laugh at them though...that must be a throwback to my childhood, LOL!!!
