Does a straw have one or two holes?

One

One because its a hole but two openings, not two holes, if there was material between the two openings then there would be two holes but its one continuous hole

Where is the one hole? There aren't any holes, or else the straw would be useless

That makes no sense. So you are saying there are no holes? What do you drink out of then? A hole.

Actually, topologically speaking, this is absolutely correct.

One, unless you've shoved it up your butt, and then you might say something like it is two holes in one.

By the way this debate ranks right up there with how many angels can fit on the head of a pin.

I would say it's one continuous hole. A sweater is usually made up of different parts combined where as a straw is a single part, so a single hole.

I think we are all forgetting something here. The hole is the default state, not the straw. If we take the straw away the hole is still there. Hence, the correct answer is that the hole has one straw.

Hiding it up an orifice does not mean it no longer exists at all. ..............................................

Hello l:

Considering my alimentary canal is nothing more than a glorified straw, I'd say it has TWO holes..
