CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.

When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
Of course it does, but worse yet, it cheats the country! That aside, it is even MORE devastating to the country when Gerrymandering is practiced by EITHER party! Voting districts should be set up in squares and rectangles as much as possible. NO party advantage!
Since 1997, Congress’ Office of Compliance has paid more than $17 million for 264 settlements and awards to federal employees for violations of various employment rules including, The Washington Post reported last month, sexual harassment.
Is there some campaign finance law that has been abused by the OOC ????????
Now in the mind of Crazy AL Gerrymandering has something to do with Campaign Finance Law but i could not tell you how the Dizzy Socialist ties it all together !!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course it does, and so does any violation of campaign laws. Even if Hillary Clinton had won the election, she would have to be impeached for cheating with the DNC.
Indeed it does. Probably why the Clinton Foundation is taking fire at the present time.
Hello again, Ben:
Dude.. You think the country CARES about the cheating Clintons, who have absolutely NO power, and NOT the cheating Trump, who is the most powerful man in the world???

SUPER STUPID do you have any knowledge of the OOC ??? I know you are uninformed but you should learn something about the government you love but know nothing about !!!!!!!!!!!

You should really learn to keep your Goddamn Foot out of your Fuckin Stupid Mouth you Uninformed Idiot that does not know Shit !!!!!!!!!!!!
No. Voter fraud cheats the voters. Campaign finance violation merely affects the marketing.
Campaign finance itself cheats the voter because if the voter doesn't have a shit ton of money politicians have no incentive to listen to them. The election system in America is little more than a private auction in which the ultra wealthy compete against each other.
Regardless of who funds their marketing, they still need votes. Campaign finance laws do nothing to make a politician pay more attention to Kansas instead of just New York, that’s what the electoral college is for.

Hello A:
Funding and or marketing isn't the issue.. Transparency IS.. Violating a campaign finance law means you LIED to get a vote.. That's no better than outright STEALING it..
If Trump breaks campaign finance law, will you vote for him? If he lies, will you vote for him? Is there any amount of marketing that will get you to vote for him? Then he didn’t steal your vote. Campaign finance laws don’t protect your vote. Only if someone defrauded your ballot to make your vote go to him is your vote stolen.
What does marital infidelity have to do with campaign finance laws?
Hello again, A:
In this instance, it's NOT the funding or WHERE it came from.. It's where the money was spent..
There is NO doubt that the money was spent to KEEP this information from the public IN the furtherance of his campaign for president.. That makes them campaign contributions governed by law..

Except for the fact that he regularly made such payments independent of his status as a candidate. That means this is business as usual for this guy. Even so, if they get him on this, can we expect them to follow legal precedent which was in place as recently as Obama, where all they did was fine him?
I hope they try to indict Trump. It will set a very nice precedent. Then Republicans can go back to nominating people with a good moral history and if a Dem wins, Reps can just prosecute them out of office. Every single time. Do you see an issue here?
Except for the fact that he regularly made such payments independent of his status as a candidate.
Hello again, A:
BINGO.. The money spent BEFORE he was a candidate was independent of the money he spent AFTERWARDS.. One is nobody's business. The other is EVERYBODY'S business..
You get the distinction, right... One is to sway a wife.. The other is to sway the electorate..
This is one of those laws that politicians break pretty regularly. When Obama messed up with 1.8 million, he was fined 375 thousand. I’m sure that precedent will simply be maintained and Trump will simply be fined. Is there reason to think otherwise?
This is one of those laws that politicians break pretty regularly.
You just claimed intent in these cases is hard to prove, which makes it a contradiction of your own statement that politicians break this law "pretty regularly".
I swear you literally can't write two consecutive posts without the second one contradicting the first one. Everything you write is complete unsaturated bullshit.
This has to be the Best of IGNORANT statements right here and typed in the own IDIOT'S words. This is a classic without question - The other is to sway the electorate..
