Does anyone have any holiday traditions?

Just a lighthearted debate.  I know a lot of people have holiday traditions such as watching football on Thanksgiving or having a family get together on certain specific days.  This year my children get to open one present each on Christmas eve.  Each present will have one book, a pj set and a bathrobe and we will all sit around the fire or tree in our new pj's and read the books together.  Maybe even a hot chocolate mix of some type.   Does anyone else have any traditions they want to start or already do?
Please let's keep this from being mean spirited.  :D

Yes, every year I have an ongoing tradition of giving my family members the bird when they run a-fowl.

In Europe its common to open presents on Christmas Eve, and for dinner we usually have duck in our house, but pork roast is very common in Denmark as well.

Ris a la mande is by far the most popular Desert on Christmas eve, its a french thing that takes over Denmark in December, no one seems to know why, Lol.

on the 25th we do absolutely nothing .. just relax after a stressful month.

Oh Ris a la mande, what is that? And how does duck taste? I've heard it's kind of greasy but I have always wanted to try it. Typically we open our presents Christmas morning, then the kids go play and the adult relax. At least that's how it was when I was a kid, my children just want to play with us all the time :D

Ris a la mande is a Desert made of cooled rice, sugar, whipped cream and almond extract.

It doesnt sound that nice when describing it in text, but its very good. The reason its so popular om Christmas is because its considered to be food for elves and of course Santa.

There is a game that goes along, so you mage like a Bowl of this Desert for everyone, and then you hide one almond. The one who gets the almond gets a present, usually its either a boardgame, sweets or something everyone can enjoy :)

Duck is really good, if prepared well. I never order duck in restaurants because they simply cant get it right. I dont really know how to describe it, its red meat.
