Well, pubescent people aren't properly fit to look after their young, if they were ever to conceive a child as much as an adult... Technically yes but unless you act upon your urges you have not committed a crime. I am not an expert on these things but my view on why evolution allows people to reach Puberty at 12-13 rather than 16-18 is purely due to propagation of the species when the human race first evolved we did'nt live as long as we do now so people would have reached puberty young and the age of consent is a relatively new thing in the history of mankind, in the old days as long as a girl had reached puberty she was old enough to marry and start having children 334 days ago | Side: Yes
A pedophile is one who is sexually attracted to children (considered legally, depending on jurisdiction, as being under 16 or 18 typically). Therefore, any fifteen year old boy attracted to his school's head cheerleader could be called a pedophile, as could any father who finds his daughter's 16 year old girlfriend attractive. If the person is obviosly a child, yes, i think the person should have their nuts cut off or vagina cut out, however, if your talking in the cases where a 20 year old is attracted to a physically (obviosly adult or late teenage looking 13 or 14 year old), no that is not pedophilia. Pedophilia literally means, love of children. If you are attracted to someone of that age, not because of their age but because of the person who they are or their physical appearance, that isn't pedophilia, that's nature. I dont believe in Age of Concent because a 15 year old and a 20 year old might truly be in love and it is very wrong to go in between that. True, but arbitrary is not synonymous with bad. Given the gravity of childhood abuse and the difficulty in prosecuting when the victim may not at the time understand that they are a victim the law needs to make a decision at some point as to what the age of consent should be. This decision is based on many different factors including the development of children’s brain, personality and capacity for complex understanding and rationality, judged against the desire to maximise freedoms for those who can consent. The end result of that calculation may seem arbitrary, but it is a better result than any definable point of development could be given that no such point really exists. Moreover, given the seriousness of the potential harm resulting from abuse it is legitimate for people to hold a serious taboo against attraction to young people even if it is not acted upon because that taboo makes it less likely that people will act on that desire. 333 days ago | Side: Yes

This judgement is based on development of secondary sexual characteristics such as breasts, hips, and buttocks, and some women will reach this stage earlier than others. This attraction is healthy and natural. Most of those who are attracted to pubescent children are also attracted to adults of the opposite sex. This is not pedophilia. Pedophiles are primarily attracted to pre-pubescent children who have not even begun to develop their secondary sexual characteristics. It is an involuntary attraction, like homosexuality. It is not a conscious choice and pedophiles should not be persecuted simply for their sexual orientation. If you yourself are a pubescent child, then no. I think the fact that humans sexually mature quite early is good evidence against a designer, well, an intelligent one anyway. It obviously means we get to fuck more, however, the problem is that psychologically, most humans aren't ready for sex until after sexual maturity has been reached. Paedophilia is indeed a strange phenomenon, and it has to do a lot with what the paedophile themselves has experienced. This is why a lot of children who are sexually abused go on to abuse other children. Personally, I don't see a problem with teenagers banging, I was one of them at one point.
