Indeed .

Yes, most certainly. You can choose to be offended or you can grow a pair and not give a shit about what people say.

Side: Yes it does

Yes because we are given the right to say what we wish whether it's hurtful or not, if you are offended then you'll have to suck it up and ignore it.

Side: Yes it does

Certainty, freedom of speech in absolution defines offensive language as righteous.

Side: Yes it does

Yes it does, Mr. Poopy Pants.

Side: Yes it does

It gives you the right to say whatever even to offend but there might be consequences installed in whatever you said. I mean we all have opinions and we are entitled to have them but if I run out side and start calling people names and say its my right I am still in the wrong. But yes it does give you the right to say whatever.

Side: Yes it does

It does. It has limitations on where it can be used, and on whom, but the limitations result in consequences.

For example, cursing in school as a child, or insulting a police offer will result in disciplinary actions.

It allows you to say what you actually think so.... .

Side: Yes it does

As long as the speech is not abusive, yes .

I certainly hope so.... otherwise, the internet is useless to me.

I think you should be sent to prison if you bully or offend someone on a regular basis.

That's harassment, there's a difference.

Side: Yes it does

Sent to prison....? That is extreme but i do believe that those who bully need to be punished.

I support your argument. Up vote. :)

the court have to decide if the nature of offence would fall under the category suitable for imprisonment (which doesn't exist yet)

already enough black people there, sorry .

Side: Yes it does

It doesn't necessarily give us the right to offend. However, it gives us the right to speak the perceptual good to someone's evil ways.

Side: No it doesn't

Offending others leads to bullying and bullying is not freedom of speech.
