I am going to have to side on the "Inconvenient Truth" side of this argument. (even though my real stance is somewhere in between) Is global warming real? Yes. The earth goes through natural warming cycles. Science/history has proved this to be true. Does man contribute? Most certainly. But not even as much as Mother Nature herself. Try as we might, we just can't beat her when it comes to producing "greenhouse gasses". Having said that, hoax or not, we should still try as hard as we can to reduce our involvement. Electric cars, green manufacturing, . . .you pick your poison. I just think we should all do our part, in spite of Nature working against us. Side: An Inconvenient Truth

Everyone knows the Earth goes through natural cycles of warming and cooling, the most profound of these are the Milankovitch cycles. The peak of these cycles occurs ever 41,000 years. We're far from the next peak, it's still about 30,000 years away, yet we are experiencing unusual warming. Solar activity and other factors have remained constant, the only major difference is anthropogenic CO2. Any warming that we create is amplified by natural cycles which warm the planet further. No one is disputing that natural cycles exist and have an effect, but they are very well understood and we know they aren't responsible for the recent warming we are observing.
