well, it doesn't last for long, but it's a good start for those with habits.

the thing is, hypnosis wears off pretty fast, so those under the "spell" have to go through different shit...

really, different phases are involved.

I cannot say from my own experience, and I tend to trust my own experiences more, but I know a few people that don't seem like the type to go for that to claim that it worked for them, they quit cold turkey and didn't have the urge to smoke again...

If you're looking to quit though, I would rather suggest that you decide whether or not you really want to quit because it's not a matter of "trying" to quit... it's more a matter of life style.

Yes that is true that if you really want to quit of smoking or any bad habits that you want to ditch it really must start of how willing you are to leave it all behind. As quoted, hypnosis wears off in just a short period of time. So it really depends on your mindset how you want ditch it out of you system. Mind is everything; what you think you become. Sometimes will is much better than any hypnosis.

If you ask any "real" hypnotist they will tell you the same thing. Its not the person hypnotizing, it's the person BEING hypnotized. The hypnotist arent doing anything special, except for offering their mellow relaxing voice. It's the job of the hypnotized to believe that its possible. And they can do anything.

I can't be hypnotized. They say because I'm not smart enough. I think that's a co-out for their inability to hypnotize me. For their inability to get me to do what they want me to do. Scam artists!

No it is a scam mainly because the hypnotist is not really doing anything. He is just leading you to believe that you are being hypnotized.

Sure some people can be hypnotized into not smoking for a short period of time but the craving comes back.
