I personally don't believe that it is intelligence which causes one to question the norm but rather I believe it is wisdom. "Intelligence is the capacity to acquire and apply knowledge. * Wisdom is the accumulated knowledge that gives the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting; gives the common sense; gives insight. There is a wealth of a difference between the two terms, namely, intelligence and wisdom." http://www.bing.com/ As I understand it one can be intelligence but not necessarily wise. I wonder if you've ever heard the term "Educated Fool"? I believe there are times when some brilliant intelligent people can be proficient in a particular area and completely lost in menial or common task for example I understood that Einstein was fascinated over the process of getting change back from purchases at a grocery store for example. From another standpoint I believe some intelligent people refuse to question the norm because there idea of what is correct is simply based on the notion that they are intelligent and therefore if they proceed something to be this way or something to be that way then everyone must accept their point of view. I see terrorists questioning the norm and I don't consider them as intelligent. At least, not their strategy. However, sometimes intelligence is assigned retroactively. So, if they were to win, people would be like, "Huh..., their strategy was right all along. Who knew?" ;) Side: No. Because......
hm But I guess what I mean is. Before a discover is made, it takes a questioning involing it. So you would have to question the current answer that is put up for that question. Why does the sun move around the earth? = because the gods. what if that's not true? + Research= We are the ones moving around the sun because of its gravitational pull Side: No. Because......
