In my opinion money can make human's life better because people who have money can achieve their goals and also they have more freedom. They can do what they want and nobody can tell them what they must do.

Yes money does make our life better because we can buy the stuff we need from the grocery store and also purchase things we need. Also money can pay off bills for the house

How about the fact that if money wasn't transacted for exchange, modern complex economies would be impossible. An economy based on a barter system would be nothing more than primitive.

There are other options besides barter systems. It should be noted that money economies are a type of barter system, where one item is traded for all other items.

Money can have restrictions put on it so that some types of derivatives are not possible resulting in another type of economy. For example if actual gold coins were used instead of cash or certificates of gold deposit than much of the debt we now have would not exist. There wouldn't be the credit for modern economies, which depend on debt rather than equity.

What are your thoughts on the viability of a large scale gift economy?

It is obvios that you don't understand the between between an direct and indirect exchange.

What? Elaborate!

I'm not proud if it, but money determines lifestyle. And without a preferred or slightly preferred lifestyle, your quality of life is lesser.

Money helps the bills get paid.

Better? Nah. Easier? Yes. It makes it much easier to run a nice, greedy, capitalist country ;)

This is like asking, "Does beer make you smart?" All I have to say is, "It made Bud Wiser!" ;)

Money changes everything. Money can make parents send their kids to the best of schools. Money can buy a beautiful home.

it means that some people think that money is the root of all evil and they state that money motivates people to crime, something like that, that is why some people might claim that money doesn't make our life better.

I will agree to a point in the sense that money can make your life less miserable, but in general i don't think it can make your life truly better. A better life to me is a happy life and that comes more from within.

Money can make our life go smoother and we can be buy more things, which is nice. Better life in general ? well that is subjective.

Many wealthy people, are not happy.

Many people who have little money are happy, this proves happiness is an attitude.

Money can make our life go a little smoother, but its not the be all and end all of happiness, and for that reason i choose no.

Its nice to have money, but its not the source of a better life.
